I brought my truck in to have a couple of things done. To be fair, they did complete the oil change and repaired the seal on my transfer case. However, after picking the truck up, I noticed several issues that were very disappointing. Something appears to have been changed or affected with the truck’s computer or warning system. The seat belt warning chime no longer works normally, but when the truck is placed in reverse, the seat belt chime goes off continuously the entire time. That was not an issue before the truck was serviced. The condition of the interior was also frustrating. When I dropped the truck off, the interior was meticulously maintained. I had recently shampooed the carpets and detail-cleaned the front and back. When I picked it up, I was told the truck ran great and that the crew had taken it to lunch as part of the test drive. Unfortunately, the rear floorboards had mud on both the driver and passenger sides, and the rear driver-side floor trim was damaged. I understand some people may say I should have brought the truck back and given them the chance to correct it, but I do not feel comfortable doing that. The truck was already in their possession when these issues happened, and it was returned to me with new problems, mud in the interior, and damaged trim. If those things were not noticed or addressed before the vehicle was returned, I have no confidence that bringing it back would be handled any better. While some of the requested work was completed, the overall experience left a bad impression. Between the warning chime issue, the dirty interior, and the damaged trim, I do not feel confident returning for future service.
