We didn’t have any repairs done, so I can’t speak to the quality of their mechanical work— but the poor rating is due to their complete lack of communication. We dropped off our car on a Wednesday afternoon after being told it would be fixed within two days. After hearing nothing, we tried calling on Saturday— no answer. We waited a total of 4.5 days before finally getting through to them Monday morning. Extremely frustrating to receive zero updates unless we initiated contact. When I finally spoke to someone, they said the repairs would be extremely expensive and that many of them “weren’t done there.” I asked to pick up the car, and they said that was fine. Only when I arrived did they mention— for the first time— that there was a $115 diagnostic fee. That would have been nice to know upfront. To top it off, our car had been parked in a back near a wooded area, and now it’s full of ants. Clearly, it had been sitting out there for a while. TLDR; They had our car for almost five days, didn’t repair anything, failed to communicate, and charged us $115. I would strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere.

Brought in my 2013 VW Jetta TDI. Sal was upfront when mentioning that he doesn't usually work with this type, but was willing to see what can be done as far as replacing the serpentine belt, tensioner and also doing the timing belt service at 120k. Dropped car off on a Wednesday and not to be surprised, the car is a fighter and always has been. Got the car back a few days later than predicted, but he was able to get the work done and it was done well. Car left the shop as if it was brand new, very smooth. I thank him very much for him taking the time to work on a car that doesn't frequent his shop. Communication was on par as well letting me know when the job took longer than expected. Diag fee was presented up front and put towards the final cost. Will return when services are needed.

No itemized receipt, didn't fix my son's truck or tell us about the cut and disconnected wires. Charged us $1700 just for us to get down the road and it died on us. Finally got it home, took it too another mechanic and they fixed all the things we thought Guillen was fixing... Feeling ripped off. Would have thought if they're in there they'd tell us about other things that need fixing. Worst mechanic shop I've ever been too.

Awesome Mechanic shop. Affordable. Communication was not an issue. I had been previously scammed by other auto shops but Sal Guillen was very open and transparent about what my car needed and the pricing. He was very efficient in the diagnosis and making sure to really listen to me when I would say what was happening to the vehicle when I was driving it. Overall wonderful experience. Pricing, efficiency, labor, communication, and over all customer service were a 10 out of 10. I would highly recommend, and will go ago if my cars need to be serviced in the area.
