Fast Forney's Auto Repair

I’ve been going to Fast Forney’s for a while now and honestly I don’t trust anyone else with my cars. Matt has always taken care of me and made sure everything’s done right. Whether it’s something small or a bigger repair, it’s always been a smooth experience. What I really like is that Matt actually explains what’s going on with your car so you’re not left guessing. He’s straightforward and you can tell he cares about doing honest work, not just making money. Every time I pick up my car, it’s running great and I leave feeling confident about the work that was done. Super solid place—definitely recommend.

I had a really good experience at Fast Forneys. The service was quick, affordable, and efficient, and everything was handled in a professional way from start to finish. Communication was clear, and it was easy to understand what was being done with my vehicle throughout the process. Matt, the owner, was very helpful and made sure everything was done right. He took the time to explain things clearly and seemed focused on making sure the customer experience was solid and trustworthy. Overall, the work was done well, done quickly, and at a fair price. I felt confident leaving my car there, and I would definitely return in the future if I needed more repairs or maintenance.

Time will tell. I love supporting independent businesses like this as it is so important for our community to have these available. I have only one experience to draw from however it will likely be my last. My main issue is the ever changing story and the filthy condition my car's interior was returned to me. Pros: Matt gave me a quote and honored that price despite it turning out to be more of an effort than he originally expected. Cons: The eta for completion changed 3 times. Partially because he order/got the wrong parts multiple times. I didn't feel confident he really knew what he was doing. He only "topped off the gear lubrication rather than replacing on a vehicle with over 130k miles. The nail in the coffin for me was the filthy condition I got the car back. I had to clean the interior prior to leaving just to not soil the clothes I was wearing. I'm not a neat freak prude but as an architect my vehicles tend to stay quiet clean at least on the inside. Both the driver and passenger front seats, door panels, arm rests and handles were visibly a mess as was the gear shift and steering wheel. Husband and wife team. Matt was quite rude to his wife in front of me about how she was tracking workload. Very unprofessional.

I had an outstanding experience with repair of body damage at Fast Forney’s Automotive Repair. Matt Forney and his staff made the entire process enjoyable and efficient. The quote was accurate, I was kept fully informed throughout, the work was completed early and the paint matched perfectly. Extra shout out to this team who made my car look better than before I brought it into their shop! Great experience from start to finish!

I’ve used this mechanic before and never had any issues with the actual work. But the way communication was handled completely changed my experience. I had an issue with my vehicle and needed to get it fixed, and since I’m still fairly new to the area, he was the only mechanic I knew and trusted at the time. I was trying to coordinate dropping the car off, so I reached out multiple times calls and texts just to line things up. No response. I followed up again… still nothing. After trying several times, I finally sent a message asking if I should just take my business elsewhere. The only response I got was: “Just busy is all.” I understand being busy, but completely ignoring a customer especially when they’re trying to get their car fixed is not professional at all. A simple response would’ve taken seconds. At that point, it didn’t feel like business anymore. It honestly felt like I was being avoided, which makes it hard not to take it personally. Because of that, I stopped going and found another mechanic who actually communicates. I also don’t recommend this shop anymore. Good work is important, but communication is part of the job and that’s where this place falls short.
