Tommy's European Service & Repair

Helped me when I was in a bind stranded in Dallas with a bad center support bearing. The price was great and they helped me get on the road to get back home quickly! I would love for this to be a five star review, but the repair was not completed correctly, and the information I was given was false. Upon inspection after I made it home, the driveshaft bearing was installed upside down! I was also told that I would need a new driveshaft due to the guide bushing (part 2 in the diagram) was “not user serviceable”. I was able to replace the bushing in about 12 minutes after I removed the driveshaft. I am writing this review some 6 months after the service, and 4 months after I replaced the parts myself after the bearing failed from improper installation (lasting 2 months after Tommy’s repair, constant vibration to add) 4 months after my replacement of the guide bushing and around 10k miles later, the car is vibration free and it does not appear that I need a new driveshaft. PLEASE ensure your tech has done your repairs properly!

Huge kudos to this auto shop! I got a few estimates on 5/15 for a simple repair on my Range Rover Evoque from other “reputable” shops and was honestly shocked that the quotes were anywhere from $1,700–$2,100 — even more than the Land Rover dealership quoted me. On Monday, 5/18, I reached out to Tommy’s Euro, and within literally 2 minutes Matt Howard responded. A few hours later, I had a fair estimate, an after-hours drop-off scheduled, and a loaner vehicle ready for me. The entire process was smooth from start to finish. As a woman, taking my car in for repairs can honestly feel intimidating because my biggest fear is being overcharged or sold things I don’t actually need. But that was the complete opposite of my experience here. Matt was communicative, honest, patient with all my questions, and genuinely willing to help with any concerns I had. What I appreciated most was that they were straightforward and didn’t try to tack on unnecessary repairs or charge me for things my car truly didn’t need. That kind of honesty is rare. Less than 24 hours after dropping my car off, I had it back and was already back to my normal routine. Car issues are stressful enough, so I just really wanted to give credit where it’s due. This isn’t sponsored at all — just a genuine thank you to an honest, customer-focused shop that made the whole experience so much easier. I will 100% come back and recommend this place to anyone that needs a specific European mechanic/repairs!

I had a really great experience at Tommy’s European Shop! They fixed my Mercedes much faster than I expected and kept me updated the whole time. Everyone was friendly, honest, and easy to communicate with. I felt like they genuinely cared about helping me and getting my car back on the road. It’s hard to find a shop you can trust, and I’m so glad I found them. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for great service!

They have been good as we have been working together to refresh and improve my 2014 Audi Q5… Service is quick. Ive enjoyed their offer to give me rides too when my Audi is in the shop

I'm definitely a fan of Tommy's European. They are helping me keep my 2017 BMW 330i in great shape, despite age and high mileage. Their prices are better than the dealership and these guys care about the quality of their work. They've been super responsive, and very informative in helping me decide how to prioritize work on the car. I recommend them whole-heartedly and have sent another vehicle to them for work.
