In a world where it seems everyone tries to sell you more than you need, there is a Pep Boys on Spring Creek in Plano that sets the bar super high in customer service and overall honesty. I have used this Pep Boys for over 12 years, commercially and personally and you just cannot beat the service Greg and his team deliver. When Greg is out PK delivers the same great service. I work on all my own vehicles and know how to do just about anything on them but there is always that time when you need a shop and special tools, Greg and his team always come through with those needs. They are a 10+ service location in my opinion and always strive to get it right the 1st time.

A wonderful team they’re able to diagnose and give you the exact costs before hand. I went here for all my brakes as well as engine maintenance and fluid flushes. They’re renovating it. It’s a big property. Pk and staff were very kind. They follow a professional big chain procedures so this is the place to be. The mechanics. Here are very experienced as well as they offer tires if you need them. Definitely would come back here if my vehicle has any other issues.

Deceptive Advertising and Terrible Customer Service I strongly recommend avoiding this Pep Boys location. I booked an appointment specifically for their "Free Alignment Check" advertised on their website after hitting a pothole. Despite having a confirmed appointment and showing the front desk the offer on their own website, I was immediately pressured to pay $129 for a full alignment service. When I clarified that I only wanted the free check to ensure no damage was done, the staff member became incredibly rude and dismissive. Even though the shop was clearly not busy—several bays were empty and no other customers were waiting—he told me it would be a 2-hour wait just for the checkup. What is the point of an appointment if they refuse to honor their own advertised promotions? It felt like a blatant attempt to force a paid service on me by making the free option as difficult as possible. Save yourself the headache and go to Discount Tire or Firestone. They honor their free checks, often without an appointment, and provide much faster, more professional service. This location is unprofessional and uses deceptive tactics. Be safe and alert!

I went in to the West Spring Creek location thinking that I needed to have a headlamp replaced, since that it what I had been told by another company. Thankfully, for me, your assistant service manager, Rashad didn’t try to take advantage of me and solved my problem with a bulb replacement. He was courteous, knowledgeable and absolutely capable of taking care of his customer! He is the reason I will always be a Pep Boys customer.
