Five-star service! I brought my vehicle in with some major transmission concerns, and they had it diagnosed and fixed much faster than I expected. The communication was excellent and they kept me updated throughout the entire process. My truck is shifting smoother than ever now. If you’re in the McKinney area and need transmission work, don’t go anywhere else.

I had taken my truck to another shop and got a ridiculous quote, called up Julio at the transmission shop and was shocked at the low quote. Needless to say, headed his way. Work was done extremely well and same day. Julio and his crew are the best transmission shop around!! Highly recommend them for any issues. Y'all earned a lifetime customer . Thanks Guys!!

Purchased a 1991 Ranger with a bad A4LD transmission. Contacted Eagle Transmission because of their positive reviews and while they had some negative ones, they appeared to be disputed by the owner based on actual info. Dropped off my Ranger 8/30/2024 for diagnosis. Was contacted and told that my transmission was essentially trash that they couldnt rebuild and that they would need to locate a used one. Approximately a couple months later, they contacted and said they found one. That one fell through but a little bit after, they found a different one for a couple thousand more. At this point, we were in a bind with the truck so we agreed to have them obtain the transmission and charge us $3,853.00 for a recycled transmission. We picked up the truck 10/31/2024 after hours and while driving it home, it was shifting weird. I figured it was probably fine since I hadn't driven the truck with a good transmission in it prior to. Over the next few days, my driveway was covered in fluid and shifting the transmission from park to any gear caused it to immediately shut down. Called and had them haul it to Eagle Transmission to be looked at. They claimed it was a module or sensor that was hard to come across (Google searches found lots of them) but I trusted their expertise. Got the truck back 2-3 months later. Truck still leaked fluid but at this point didnt trust them to fix anything as I seem to continue getting back defective work and it taking months to get it back anyway. Now it is 4/29/2026 with only approximately 400 miles on this transmission job since I only drive it a mile or 2 occasionally because I dont trust the job they did, the truck still spews out transmission fluid that I have to fill up and now I dont have Overdrive. I would not trust this transmission shop to properly handle repairs and that sucks because I could have purchased a fully rebuilt transmission for half the cost and likely not had any issues. However, I was fear mongered by Eagle transmission that the ones you usually find are not built properly and shouldnt be trusted.

Well, where can I start. Ok, julio the boss or the man of the hour who always there in front when u Come with an transmission issue is the best, he's very professional, knowledgeable, courtesy, polite and most of all, honest. There check in process and help with issues is so, so simple and straight forward. I been there only twice. First time my mechanic personally took me there. Because he knows I'm old and need "special attention"!! Julio was so on point he gave me a free diagnostic which included the assurity that my Trans was in great condition. Then he gave me definite info directing me to what the problem was. 💯. Now my visit today was similar but different. Fast and accurate diagnostic said only need minimum service, replaced Trans fluid and said, "come get u baby it's ready like Freddy. Thx julio and all the tech as well. Their the real heroes i must say. I hope this review signifies the relevance and A-1 service you get when u come to the transmission shop.... OF MCKINNEY.... ✌🏾

I think the hardest thing to find now a days in a mechanic is honesty. These guys are just that. Diagnostic showed a problem that needed another shop to take a look. I wasn’t charged for them looking and I appreciate their thorough loom because the last 2 places missed it.
