I had a tire that was losing air. The Drivers Edge team quickly diagnosed the issue and determined the tire had to be replaced. The replacement arrived early the following day and the work was completed less than 24 hours after I dropped the car off. Very pleased with my experience and I received regular updates.
View on GoogleI had a very disappointing experience with Driver's Edge Auto Repair that raises serious concerns about their integrity and customer service. In August 2024, my car was repaired here through a GEICO referral, and I was told that both front brake pads/rotors were replaced due to wear. Recently, after I sold the car in Dec 2024, the new owner experienced the same braking issue after just 19k more miles from when the rotor pads were replaced. Upon inspection by another mechanic, they were informed that only one side appeared to have been replaced based on uneven wear and the differences they noticed in the two pads. When I contacted Driver’s Edge, they were initially confident both sides would have been replaced and asked me to bring the car and parts in for inspection. However, after I went through the effort of retrieving the vehicle and worn parts, the shop declined to even inspect them. Instead, they immediately dismissed the concern, stating they “trust” the technician (a relative who no longer works there), without any objective review. This was particularly frustrating because they themselves had requested the inspection. If they had no intention of evaluating the issue, that should have been communicated upfront. The lack of willingness to even examine the evidence reflects poorly on their professionalism and accountability. Based on this experience, I would not return to this shop or recommend it to others. Further I will lodge a complaint with BBB knowing very well that it will be denied as this claim is after 20 months from when I took Driver Edge's service. Nevertheless, I want to make sure there is documentation for unethical business practice.
View on GoogleAlthough having no appointment my car was taken in with a little wait. The place was quite busy. The lady at the reception was very courteous with pleasant disposition. The service was rendered with efficiency and promptness.
View on GoogleI got the oil changed in my 2022 Subaru Ascent. The wait was about 1.5 hours. They were running a special for oil change at $42 and I found that to be very reasonable. They did not pressure me for any additional services but did ask if I had the chance to review the vehicle report, which noted that my car would benefit from a coolant change out for $179. This seemed reasonable as we had not done this service previously. (Even though Subaru recommended 137,000 miles I think that is too long, and my car has 72,000 miles). Overall had a great first experience and will plan to return for additional services.
