Crash Champions Collision Repair NW McKinney

Back in 2023, but still makes me feel ripped off and violated... Worst body shop experience I've ever had. I brought an '02 Corvette to them and they tried to give it back to me looking worse than it did with the damage from someone backing into the door and cracking the paint by the door handle and scratching the body side molding. The body side molding was barely on with weird gaps nothing like the other side or original part attached flush and there were ripples and still chip lines in the paint. Adding insult to injury I had to argue with them to get a refund because they didn't really replace all the parts they charged me for. I only noticed by accident because the work was so bad that a real light they claimed to have replaced was epoxied in... They were lile... Oh whoops, we thought we did... Even after bringing it back when I picked it up polishing compound was all over including inside and they didn't remove the masking in my gas cap.. I basically gave up and left taking it as it was....

Had to bring my Lexus in for repairs after an accident. Eric was very professional and kept me in the loop with status updates over the course of the repair. The repairs that were recommended to me were very reasonable, and Eric answered all the questions I had during that time frame. Great service, no complaints, would recommend.

I took my car in to get repaired after an accident on 3/9. They do an estimate and the completion date was 3/28. They originally stated that my car was totaled but my insurance company stated that it wasn't and authorized the repairs. Once the stated that it was totaled the rental agency sent me an email that my rental agreement would end ln 3/17. I n contacted my insurance company and they extended the rental since Crash Champions was going to repair my car. I was also tole that i would be getting regular update on the status of my car which i wasn't getting. 3/28 rolls around and my car is still not ready. I called since i wasn't getting updates and was told that they were waiting on a hinge but that it should be ready by the following week. Still no updates so i called back on 4/1 and was told that the hinge had to go to painting and it should be ready by end of the week. I called the following monday 4/6 to be told that they had to reorder the hood since it wan't fitting right but by the end of the week it should be finished. Still no updates. I called back on friday 4/10 to be told that it would be 4/13. It is now 4/13, i have called and left a message asking for a status update and just like the previous messages i have left, there is no call ack. the only time i can talk to my "consultant" is when i am lucky enough to get ahold of him when i call in. MY renatl ended after 30 days (4/7) so i am having to pay out of my own pocket. wheil this location seems to just take their time doing slow repairs and not letting me know the status. I would higly recommend looking for somewhere else to take your vehicle and will be letting my insurance agency know to stop recommending this company. What makes it worse it that for the first week my car just sat there with no work being done and it has taken 2 weeks for a "hinge" and hood to be put on the car.

Frank at Crash Champions took care of me. Had an incident at a business in McKinney that damaged my truck. He was quick, honest and gave me some awesome tips and tricks for the upcoming repairs. Hopefully don’t have to; but would certainly go back to see them right away if I ever needed it. Felt like they took deep pride in ensuring that I felt comfortable with how they explained everything and how they would handle upcoming repairs.

Eric was fantastic to work with, so helpful and professional. And so communicative! I had a sense the whole time that he was handing it for me, from helping with a rental car to fixing my vehicle, to dealing with insurance. I didn’t have to do much, he took care of everything. I wish more businesses had this level of service. Thanks for all your help Eric and Crash Champions. I’m very grateful!
