They were able to get my car working again, and I was honestly surprised by how smooth and effective the whole process was. My Prius V had an overheating incident which prompted me to bring it to a local shop. To make the story short, that shop misdiagnosed the problem and unnecessarily replaced the thermostat and damaged the AC compressor in the process. I found Priustec online and brought my car there for a second opinion. Priustec pinpointed the the cause as a water pump failure, and collateral damage to the AC compressor. Both were fixed by them to my satisfaction. Ronaldo and Miguel- the dynamic duo hybrid mechanics/technicians at that place were awesome! Not only did they explain the nuances of fixing hybrid cars, but also explained how different hybrids are from regular gas vehicles. They should be teaching novice mechanics and setup a YouTube channel. Btw, their prices are VERY reasonable! I'll be a forever customer for as long as I own hybrid cars. Thank you very much for your services,guys. I hope that they continue to prosper and expand their services.

We called them over our Prius having starting issues. Ronaldo was the one at the shop when we arrived and he is absolutely amazing! He really knows the Prius, which finding a knowledgeable AND honest mechanic that knows the Prius is rare! He went the extra mile and was able to get my car fixed despite staying overtime and still gave us a very reasonable price! I would highly recommend this shop and will definitely be back again! Ronaldo is super cool and very knowledgeable! I knew from the first time speaking with him that he wasn't going to screw me over like the Toyota dealership. He was able to fix my problem quickly and for 1/5th of what Toyota wanted to charge. This guy is my go to for my Prius now. I highly recommend this guy for your hybrid and EV needs.

the most amazing thing to me was they honored the warranty on the replaced hybrid battery even though this was going to cost them a lot. How many 3rd party mechanics are going to honor the warranty? Especially when it hurts them financially? You can read the reviews -- what they do is stop returning your calls and messages. these guys are probably the best Prius mechanics in all of Houston. Please trust these guys (Ronaldo and Miguel) over anybody else.
