NextGen Motorworks

I wish to share my experience in the hope of preventing others from enduring the same unfortunate circumstances I faced. I took my truck to NextGen Motorworks for bodywork, which included the removal of door bumpers, repainting, and the repair of dents, chips and remove a bed cover. During my initial visit with Johnny, I was informed that the requested work would be completed within one week. He assured me that he would fulfill the work to my satisfaction and made me feel confident in his expertise, mentioning that he operated multiple shops and had been in business for a considerable period. I departed with the assurance that my truck was in capable hands. However, I was dismayed to discover that after one week, my truck remained unfinished. The communication from Johnny regarding the status of my vehicle was almost non-existent. Despite receiving a few text messages from him with updates and inquiries, two weeks passed without the return of my truck. When the vehicle was finally ready for inspection, I approached with the hope that the work had been completed satisfactorily. To my dismay, I found several issues: some dents had not been repaired, there were scratches on the new paint, sanding marks on areas not under repair, a door handle that was broken and barely attached, paint splatter under the hood, an item that was supposed to be “fixed” but appeared to have been glued on, and broken rear door window seals. Upon discussing these issues with Johnny, he handed me a sharpie to circle the items I wished to have redone. When I presented the broken components, he acknowledged responsibility for the door handle but denied responsibility for the rear window seals. Furthermore, he remarked that had he known I would be so particular, he would have charged me double. Such a statement is quite perplexing; as a business owner, one is expected to conduct oneself in a professional manner, which was certainly not the case here. I left my truck with him once more for repairs, during which he assured me that it would be completed by Saturday (in two days). However, Saturday arrived with no further communication regarding the status of my vehicle. I received a text on Tuesday indicating that my truck would be ready on Wednesday. Upon my arrival to inspect and collect my truck, I was disheartened to find additional issues: a different door handle was broken, my wheels NOW have overspray all over them, the rear window seals were only partially installed, there were chips in the new paint, the replaced door handle, and window seals were not of the original brand but rather an off-brand that was visibly inferior, door locks that are no longer working and the truck was left in a complete disarray. The bed cover was also reinstalled on the truck because Johnny “didn’t want any issues”. The bed cover was not installed correctly and left NEW scratch marker on the tailgate. At this juncture, I find myself exceedingly frustrated with an individual to whom I entrusted with my truck, as he exhibited a complete lack of regard for my property and appeared entirely unconcerned with the condition of my vehicle. He engaged in circular conversations, expressing his apologies and asserting that his actions were the best he could offer. He proposed to conduct a diagnostic free of charge when the check engine light activates in the future and to repair the second door handle that he had damaged. However, it is evident that I will not be returning my truck to any of his establishments, as I am now left with a vehicle that remains damaged and is covered in dirt and grime, both inside and out, due to his insufficient attention to detail.

Very helpful staff. I was blown away with all the pictures and information received when diagnosing my Porsche. Got my repairs done way cheaper then Porsche and gave me a loaner. Thanks guys!!

Very nice and clean place. I was told by the dealership I need a transmission 8k repair! This guys checked and found a leak and transmission with no oil, repaired it and got me back on the road under 500. Love the pictures for my repairs and process. Thank you Johnny for a great experience.

Great, family oriented people. Johnny was awesome and helped me get my inspection done ASAP after buying my new car and gave me the best price. Definitely will be back. They also have some cute cats to play with while you wait :)
