Sam's Club Tire & Battery

Im very disappointed on the end results of my service. I went to get into my car and the technician left oil smut all over my car. I have tan leather seats. There was smut on the door, the console and the seat. I thought he would have at least cleaned the mess with the amount of money I spent.

1) The online system was not updated to indicate that my tires were available at the Humble location. 2) There was no verification of a qualified technician’s availability to service electric vehicles when I made my appointment. 3) The representative incorrectly stated that no service had been performed on my electric vehicle, despite having previously changed its tires twice. 4) I was advised to speak with the manager about the installation, which raises concerns about how to find qualified technicians for electric vehicle services at your locations in case of emergencies. Overall, the lack of professionalism in the tire department was evident. I waited 15 days for my tires, only to find that Costco was able to install them the same day without requiring an online order or appointment. If you visit Sam's on a Sunday morning, you can see that the tire department is often empty while Costco is bustling with customers. This experience has been the most disappointing I’ve had in two decades of being a member.

I've always been displaying my member ID through my Samasung phone app which displays my info. Lately, this lady greeter and ID member checker at the store has been advising me that I can't use a photo of my member card. I also showed my scan & go app capability, which also shows my member ID info, and still was advised by her that it's not acceptable, and she pointed out to see customer service for a temporary card. I have many cards and can't carry it all at one time, so I carry only my 3 important cards in a minimalist wallet. The other Sam's store location accept my ID member info on my phone. Now, I avoid shopping at this Humble location.

Terrible customer service refused to even try my only payment method and when asked why they wouldnt, the team leader responded with "because i said no, and im the boss" wouldve taken not even a minute to let me attempt the payment. And if it didn't work, i would've gotten cash out. Terrible service and terrible lead. Edit: I attempted the payment inside the store at the cafe, and it worked perfectly. Wish i couldve used it to get my tires, but i guess it wouldve shattered the leads fragile ego.

I bought some tires for my car from this Sam's club, and one of the tires was bad. I took my car back a couple times for the tire to be replaced, but they denied anything being wrong with the tire. They told me I needed get my wheel alignment checked again. I went and got a front wheel alignment rechecked, but my car was still shaking. I took my car to a shop and they inspected my car and determined that my tire was bad. I took my car back to Sam's Club with the printout from the shop, and they was trying to say that my rim was bent, which was a lie. I had just took my car to them for a wheel rotation and balance and they never said anything about my rim being bend. They said the back rim was bent, but the bad tirethat is on the front. Make that make sense. Once I got the machanic from the other shop on the phone to explain to them what my problem was, they finally agreed to give me a new tire. They have been so rude to me each time. Finally today I had another appointment to get my new tire put on after several unsuccessful attemps to do so, and they tells me that I have to pay $20 for installation/renewal of my warranty. If they would have listened in the first place this could have been resolved when I first got the tires. If only they would have owned up to their bad product the first time instead of trying to lie like it wasn't anything wrong with the tire, I wouldn't have to write this review. Buyer Beware.
