I cannot recommend A1 American Transmission enough. Dealing with transmission issues is usually a nightmare, but Miguel made the whole process easy and stress-free. He is incredibly honest and fair—he actually takes the time to explain what’s going on and gives you a straight answer without any of the typical shop 'run-around.' If you want quality work at a fair price from someone with real integrity, ask for Miguel. Best shop in Houston, hands down.

This company did a great job on my 2017 titan xd. My transmission wouldn't shift past first. I called my normal transmission guy and he doesn't work on anything past 6 speeds. I called two different dealerships and was told I would need a new transmission at $10,000 their cost plus installation. I found this company using Google maps. I talked to the owner and he told me that it was probably the valve body and to bring it in. Got it to him and he diagnosed it as a bad valve body. He was right. They put in a new one and it is working perfectly. The price was great. I am happy I called them. They saved me thousands. This company is honest and they do great work. I waited several months before posting this review. They earned all 5 stars and I will use them again.

A family owned business we recently moved off of Townsend Boulevard we are no longer off of 1960. We are on Townsend Boulevard suite B in the back of the building. There will be a bunch of RVs in the front of the building. Come by and see us if you need your fluid checked free diagnostics
