Had a full engine replacement in my 1999 honda civic ex. Piston decided to explode out the oil pan. Fred was extremely helpful, he found one engine turned out to be no good, he then traced down another for me. Yes, it did take a little more time then originally state but the those issues that came up where not on him. I had a very set budget, and could afford to spend anymore. He gave me a very reasonable deal, after calling around everywhere and asking everyone. Overall he was very communicative, he was very respectful and always kept me in the loop of anything and everything. Hopefully I dont have to come back, but would definitely come back if I needed to. Overall experience rating a solid 9/10 Highly recommend.

At first this place seemed professional with the electronic paper work sent and options given for the repair. To avoid a very lengthy review, I will attempt summarize the best I can . I took my car for steering issues about a week before christmas week 2025 and they expedited rack and pinion fix to be completed on christmas eve. I paid for the repair in full and got the car on christmas eve. After driving about 2-3 miles smoke was billowing out my engine. I took it back that same day and found they had left a rope tied through my radiator fans and secured to my radiator. It blew my fan fuses partially damaged my fan and my radiator started leaking. Owner Fred promised to replace my radiator and fans at no cost to me and apologized for the lack of professionalism. He replaced my radiator and my fuses and gave me the car back that same day. He didn't replace the fans as promised and though they spin abit slower with a "rachety" sound he said it's working. They were going to close early for the holiday and will be closed for 2 weeks so he said if I found any issues bring it back and he'll replace the fan. 3 weeks went by, I got new tires on the car and took it back to inquire about the sloppy steering and a possible fan changeout. He acted like we didn't have the conversation before christmas and dismissed everything I said. He did agree to do another alignment for about $10-$15 less than his regular price and I refused his services. Also my front fender trim was not properly replaced and is sagging and my left headlight is wobbly feeling like it's only supported by 1 screw. I took it to Discount tire since they do alignments now and they said all my calibration were out of spec and there were loose bolts contributing to the wobbly feeling I felt in the steering, along with the pulling to left side I was experiencing. I drove the car after their alignment and it felt like my car again . I felt like I had control of the vehicle. I will take it somewhere else to double check the work done on the rack and pinion and will have to pay another shop to fix my fender trim and affix my headlight, but I won't take my car to Fred automotive ever again and I will not recommend their services to anyone. They are an unprofessional and deceptive outfit.

He uses cheap parts, his warranty doesn’t go beyond a year, I’ve had multiple parts fail the second year from his shop. He will overcharge you by raising the price of the parts you need. He will tell You you have other issues with your vehicle when you really don’t. Now time for positive talk, his mechanics are friendly, his wife is nice, Fred himself seems nice. If this review is challenged I’ll come forward with more detailed facts. Thanks.

Great place, friendly and helpful. they work with you on all auto needs and repairs. Effecient, punctual and helped with towing. I highly recommend them

They are very courteous. They haven't worked on my car just yet so we'll see.
