I've asked Chris to complete some serious performance upgrades for my '89 Fox Body right now, and honestly, I wish I'd found him sooner. This guy knows Fox Bodies like the back of his hand. But here's the best part—he doesn't gatekeep that knowledge. He'll spend as much time as you need explaining what he's doing and why, making sure you actually understand what's going on with your car. No rushing you out the door or making you feel dumb for asking questions. His shop is legit. Clean, organized, and you can tell immediately this is someone who genuinely loves what he does. Chris is a local guy who's been part of the community forever, and his reputation speaks for itself. Prices are competitive, probably because he's a preferred distributor for most major trusted brands, turnaround is fast, and the work is top-notch. Whether you need intricate diagnostic work or you're doing a full performance and suspension build like I am, Chris is the guy you want wrenching on your Mustang. If you've got a Fox Body (or any classic Mustang really) and you want someone who's going to treat it right and do the job correctly, stop looking and call Chris's Car Doc. You won't regret it.

I wish I could say great things about this shop, but after my experiences, I can’t in good faith recommend anyone take their vehicle there. I was so excited to finally be at a shop that came highly recommended in Foxbody Mustang groups. When I showed up and saw 10 or more Foxbodies in the shop and out front, I thought for sure I was in the right place to get my '90 Foxbody back on the road. After the first drop-off and pickup, I made the 2-hour drive back home—only to have it start overheating. At first, it wasn't terrible, but within a few days it was getting way too hot to drive. I called the shop to confirm that everything had been done and there was nothing else needed—they assured me it was 100%. So, I trailered it back up there. By this point, I was already $3,800+ in. I dropped it off again and asked that it be thoroughly driven and tested before I picked it up. On my way there to get it, they casually mention, “Well, it dies sometimes—just FYI.” That was already frustrating. Then they said it needs a tune, which is odd because it's a mostly stock car. I take it for a drive, and now it’s dying at every stop. At this point, I’m another $2,000 in, over $5,000 total, and I’m beyond upset with the quality of the work and repairs. It’s basically doing the same things it was before I brought it in the first time. Now I’m over five grand into a car that still just sits, idles terribly, overheats, and doesn’t want to run. Yay :Edit: To your response you are either lying or mixing up my car with another vehicle. Mine came in September of 2024 For what I stated above overheating idling rough not running right issiues you parts swapped stuff at best and fixed none of the issiues it came in for its been in 2 times with the promise to fix what it was initially brought in just to be told its another part/parts just to leave still not drivable.

These ppl are awesome and do good honest work, Brenda communicated good with me and they will work with u on parts and stuff. Not looking to get rich off u like other shops. Chris and his guys are great mechanics and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a shop that u can trust and count on. No one knows mustangs like these guys. Thanks again!

Dropped my 03 Cobra off to get new inner and outer tie rods. While there they discovered tie rods were not the issue and fixed it for a fraction of the cost. Great service and trustworthy work. Will be bringing my car back for future issues.

Forgot to post a review about a month ago when i brought my 12 3.7 mustang to get a set of 3.55 gears installed along with a one piece drive shaft, i also happen to live 1 hour away but let me just say its more than worth it, the people are really nice and awesome, prices are very good for the quality work that you will be getting done to your vehicle! Its really cool seeing the other sorts of mustangs they have there, You can trust them with your vehicle they’ll take good care of it and do phenomenal work, overall highly satisfied and the best customer service i have received and nothing but good things to say about them!
