I went here on a recommendation from a buddy of mine. Very friendly experience and reasonably priced compared to going to the dealership where’d you get the expensive ticket. Went in on 2/10/25 to receive diagnosis/estimate for leaky valve covers. Hunter was able to recommend the proper fix and ordered the replacement covers that day. I was expecting to wait a week for the parts to come in and was notified the next day the parts were available. I dropped my truck off 02/12/25 expecting to pick it up on Friday based on the estimated time to complete given. I was called the same day saying my truck was ready to go. They cleaned up the oil leak that was burning on the exhaust and replaced both valve covers. I drove it to work and haven’t seen any smoke from burning oil which is great. Hunter was able to keep me in the loop and converse with me about other common issues with my type of vehicle. I would highly recommend anyone needing repairs done to come to Tiller Automive.

The Tiller team have been my go-to guys in San Antonio since we got here 7yrs ago. I have an older Ford with 325K+ on it, and what I admire about these guys, is the fact that they'll do just about anything you need, but will give you honest advice and not try to up-sale you just because you’re there. They recommended I leave my original gear box on my truck and told me exactly why they are recommending that, instead of replacing it, which was my original request. They would have made more money, but chose to just provide honest advice. My wife even feels comfortable there when I’m not there with her. Hats off to the entire team there at Tillers Jason

I’ll make this brief. I was having car troubles just before summer. I took my car here, alone, and was ultimately charged $340. They claimed they had changed the speed sensor yet Honda ended up replacing that part, the following week. I left the lot, informed that the codes were cleared, only to nearly break down halfway home. When I returned and explained the issues re-presented themselves, I was encouraged to look into getting a new car immediately. All the money I spent on a rental (and the Lyft’s I had to get after the fact), on top of being charged (for who knows what here) would have easily paid for the dealership to resolve my issues. Lesson learned, do not go here. Feel free to look at my other automotive reviews from this year. Those experiences were far more positive.

I was sent to Tiller from another trusted mechanic. I needed work done on my vehicle after an accident that my regular mechanic could not do. I am very pleased with the work they did and the cost. While they had my vehicle, their communication was great as well. I'll definitely use and recommend Tiller in the future. 👍🏻

This place is the absolute best. Took my old van to Tiller’s for an oil leak. They spotted the problem, found a problem with the brakes too, fixed it all, and I paid about half of what I expected to pay. I’ve taken vehicles to them for repair before and they are always honest, thorough, quick and effective. You can’t ask for anything more than that. I have also taken vehicles to other repair shops in the area and Tiller’s blows them all away… by far.
