Twice now in the last six months, we have experienced dissatisfaction with services given for a simple oil change and inspection. First, it was my husband‘s car.. He went and had an oil change and then about a week later his car begin running hot, not understanding why because he’s never had that issue before he decided to check the coolant and it was completely empty so he called and asked the shop. Do they not top off fluids when completing an oil change to which they informed my husband that they do top off all fluids when completing an oil change. Fast-forward to my vehicle a week ago had an oil change and when I took it in, I specifically asked the gentleman at the counter. Do y’all top off all fluids when completing an oil change the gentleman advised yes they do however before taking a long road trip my husband wanted to doublecheck and make sure all fluids were topped off and sadly my coolant was completely empty. We are highly dissatisfied.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! I took my truck to this place because it started making a ticking noise and misfiring. I dropped it off at 8 AM on a Friday. The guy at the front desk told me that they would call me within the hour with a diagnosis and a quote. I called them back at 1:30 in the afternoon and he said they were still looking at it. Called back at 5:15 and they were still looking at it and they were going to call me in 20 minutes. I didn’t receive a call back until the next morning at 9 AM. The guy told me that I needed secondary Air injection pumps, and spark plugs And gave me a quote for almost $2500. I called a friend that was a Toyota mechanic for years once I got the diagnosis and he referred me to one of his friends that has been a Toyots mechanic for 30 years. The first thing he asked was if I had aftermarket catalytic converters. I answered yes and he said that’s probably your problem, which makes sense and goes along with what I told the guy at the shop in the first place, that the noise sounded like it was coming from the passenger side catalytic converter. I went to pick the truck up and pay their $90 diagnostics fee then took it to the guy at Toyota to verify that was the problem. I then took the truck to a muffler shop as he suggested and got the converters replaced for $850. So if I would’ve just told these guys “ OK, do the work” They would’ve charged me $2500 and wouldn’t have fixed anything. I called them to get my $90 diagnostics fee back since they didn’t actually diagnose anything and the guy told me “sorry we don’t refund diagnostics fees.” What exactly is a diagnostics fee for? Isn’t it to diagnose a problem? If you don’t diagnose the problem, should you be paid? I could’ve taken my truck to the drive-through at Jack in the box and the guy could’ve told me what he thought was wrong with my truck just as good as these guys did. Needless to say, I have disputed the charge on my AMEX card and I will never bring anything to this shop ever again. These guys are either completely incompetent or they’re trying to scam people that bring their cars here. By reading some of the other 1 star reviews, I am leaning toward the second option. Either way, I don’t want them touching my cars. You’ve been warned!!

I definitely recommend Skinner Goodyear. They handled my car with care, communicated clearly, and made the entire experience smooth and reassuring. The team was professional, honest, and attentive, which made me feel confident in the work being done. The pricing felt very reasonable and fair for the level of service I received, and I truly felt like I got great value. I will absolutely be coming back for future services.

I just bought a 2022 f150 back in November 2025 and just a few months later in March it needed a new engine. These guys replaced it for me and I could not be happier with the service provided to me. I had my truck back and on the road within a week! The customer service is top tier and I will 100% be coming here for all of my vehicle needs and recommending them to everyone I know!

1st trip there was little painful on brake job price but it is what it is and they did and awesome job on top of staying after closing to get it done! 2nd trip here today for a spark plug job tune up. I'm pretty sure I've found my go to place for any mechanical needs, thanks CNZ Automotive!
