Eagle Transmission & Auto Repair

I had an issue with my transmission, they got it diagnosed and quoted in a timely manner. I gave them the ok to fix it, but it took a bit longer then expected to get repaired (I was told they were short staffed when I brought my car in, so it took a little longer than usual). I dropped the car off Thursday right before closing, I gave the ok to repair the transmission on Friday around noon, the repair was finished the following Wednesday. Only issue with the shop that I had was getting a hold of someone on the phone, we usually played a game of phone tag (calling each other back after missing the others call).

This is the 3rd time I took it to eagle for the same issue of either of ignition coils or spark plugs. Hoping that they could find the root cause, but to be honest, their diagnostic did not instil confidence at all!!!!!!!! I just paid 900 to get the spark plugs, ignition coils, and a throttle body cleaning only for it to drive once on my way home, and then not turn over again. Dealing with this shop literally feels like dealing with the dad from Matilda!!!!! Maybe y'all will have better luck. But during these times, be wary with this one. P.s. So I was able to get my truck to start with the help a mechanic friend. We got it to turn over with a carb cleaner in the throttle body as an old trick. But he found that the EGR valve line completely closed off because the vacuum line was pinched between the engine air housing intake that sits right above the ignition coils. The obd2 scanner showed 22 error codes with the pinched vacuum line. After we corrected that and drove it a bit, the error codes were down to 1 and was able to turn over fine. So initially I gave a 1 star review. But after this investigation I gave a 3 star because someone had to have pinched it at the shop after getting the replacing the coils, plugs, and throttle body cleaning. But the hospitality was good. I was just frustrated over the pinched line.

Christian hooked it up. Super responsive, kept me up to speed. Dropped it off overnight using their drop box and they started working on it first thing in the morning. Had my truck back in less than 2 days for a clutch repair. Definitely would recommend.

Be careful with this shop. I took my car there and they had it for over two months. When I picked it up, the tires were destroyed and the transmission was still having problems. I had already paid over $6,000. They took no responsibility for anything. Be very careful. The manager of this place is super rude.

I had some damage to my car due to my CV axle breaking . I am From the San Antonio area and I knew nothing about Fort Worth or anybody that could repair my car and I found eagle transmission on Google. I talked to Chris, the manager, he arranged to get my vehicle over here and was upfront with me about the cost and everything the car needed. He took the time out to explain everything To me. The car was ready when he said it was going to be. When I came in to pick up my car, I was so surprised this is one of the cleanest And most organized repair shops I have ever seen. From now on any repairs that I need and that can wait until I get back to Fort Worth I will ask Eagle repair to take care of it.
