This shop was honest and did a great job. I’ve never received regular text updates from a shop before and Amie was in constant communication as this was our only car. Was a blessing! They even arranged free transportation to and from the shop since we didn’t have a backup. We had suspension work done since our steering was very bad in our 2018 Chevy Equinox. We got the work done at a reasonable price and they even removed a service off the invoice they initially recommended saying we ended up not needing it. Highly recommend!

I found Team Hoover last year after my trustworthy mechanic of many years retired. I went to a local town Facebook page in search of a new one close by. Their name came up over and over again with positive reviews. Gave them a shot and they did not disappoint! I’ve referred a couple of people to them since then and they were just as pleased. Today (6/8/26) I went there because I had a front blinker bulb out and a few questions about why when the whole headlight assembly was replaced recently (not by them). A gentleman in the front office came outside to check it out. He not only told me why, but took the time to educate me on different options for lighting and how it all works. He then points out a small radiator hose leak that can be fixed by just changing out the clamp, which he recommended I do myself due to the ease of it. During our interaction he replaces both front blinker bulbs. The gentleman ended up being the owner, Mike Hoover. Went to settle up and he didn’t charge me a penny, not even for his time. He could’ve easily sent one of his many employees outside with me in this heat to make a quick buck. He chose customer service instead. Kudos to you and your team! Keep up the great work.

Team Hoover is an upstanding business and you can absolutely trust them with your vehicle here. I initially left a negative review after my husbands cars AC was not fixed, a faulty temp switch was initially changed, and I felt as though we were getting the run around. Mike Hoover responded to my review and explained the details further and extended the opportunity for me to speak to him over the phone, which I did. Upon speaking with him I was quickly put at ease. He was incredibly kind and thorough on the phone and restored my trust in him and his business. We took my husbands car back and replaced the compressor and the AC runs smoothly and perfectly now. I can not thank Team Hoover enough for their diligence, kindness and professionalism. I highly recommend them and will continue to use them for future mechanical needs.

I can’t say enough about how grateful I am for Team Hoover Automotive! I had been dealing with an electrical issue on my truck for a about 2 weeks and even took it to two other mechanic shops before coming here. After spending all that time and money with no resolution, Team Hoover was the one who found the problem and fixed it. Special shout out to Steve, service advisor, who kept me updated and made the whole process smooth, and to Jesus, the technician who worked on my truck and got it running again. I’m truly thankful I found this shop, and I highly recommend Team Hoover Automotive to anyone looking for a trustworthy, skilled, and reliable mechanic shop. They saved me a lot of stress and I’ll definitely be coming back for any future work!

I guess I’ll start this off by saying I had previously made this review back in August of 2023 so this isn’t recent but still needs to be posted. After making my initial review Mr Hoover personally called me and wanted me to take down my honest review. Being younger and dumb I did just that. After a couple years of thinking about it, and still dealing with the issue I initially put my car in for, here it is. My first and only experience with this shop was down right horrendous. It started with me putting my 2002 v6 Pontiac firebird in their shop for an oil leak, ac issue, and belt issue. I didn’t know much back then but my belt and AC was fine so it was just the oil leak. After some time of working on it, they were getting close to finishing then ran into “another leak” that I didn’t have before. they even sent me a video of it. That ended up costing me extra but that’s not the main thing. After all was said and done I paid 3k and got my car back. I couldn’t drive the car immediately so it was parked for a day. I then was able to take it on a drive. Everything was fine on the first drive till my oil pressure dropped to zero and I couldn’t get above 3k RPMs. Mind you I had just gotten on the toll road and didn’t have any exit nearby. I put my hazards on and tried to limp it as close to home as I could. Didn’t make it far cause she had already thrown a rod and overheated. She was toast. In the end team Hoover paid for the tow truck and replaced my engine free of cost, but I still leak oil from the exact same spot and only thing I got out of the whole fiasco was 50k less miles. They also broke a piece of my $500 air intake but was denied as expected. As I stated in my previous review a couple years back, not trying to dog on anyone or be disrespectful, but I have to be honest as to my experience and it was horrible. Never have been back and never will but everyone else has given great reviews so I guess I got really unlucky like a couple other people have. You live and you learn😂🤷‍♂️ don’t even want a sorry or anything just want to warn others.
