Took my truck in on a Tuesday, had a diagnosis by lunch. Called me directly, explained everything in plain English, no runaround. Parts sourced same day, picked it up Thursday — fixed right the first time. The price honestly caught me off guard. In a good way. I sat in the parking lot and rechecked the invoice because I was convinced something got left off. Nope. Just fair. The guys there actually talk to you like a person. No condescending, no upsell, no pressure. Just honest work at an honest price. Already sent my sister and my neighbor. Won't go anywhere else.

Can't say enough about the owner and his professional, customer service and knowledge. Doesn't try to gauge you with pricing, just honest fair pricing with fast efficient and quality service on your vehicle. Highly recommend them for anything you need done, we drive from Saginaw to have him and his team work on our vehicles!! Thank you Donnie 🙏

I came in to get my car diagnosed, and even though they don’t usually work on VW vehicles, they went above and beyond to help me. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to run a scan to give me an idea of what was going on. It’s rare to find that kind of honesty and willingness to help—highly recommend!

Here are the facts: 4/10 I was told my car would get done in 1 hour. By EOD 4/10, they tell me that they were “delayed” and pushed my car repair completion to 4/13. 4/13 occurs and they tell me there’s further delays and a price increase due to “unforeseen” complications. Between 4/13-4/14 they tell me that there’s further delays due to the location of the repair. And they tell me that two other “smaller jobs” need to get done. Something that was not disclosed until I called. Between 4/14 thru now (4/15) I have heard the following excuses from various people: - “we’re working on it” but no definitive timeframe given other than “it’ll be done today”, which has been stated to me since 4/10 - and it’s still not done. - “personnel are out getting items that are needed” - “Murphy’s Law” As a note: I was clear that I’m making an interstate trip and I need the car repairs completed as soon as possible due to timeframe constraints. I do not feel that my request has been honored the right way, nor taken seriously. While I appreciate some of the communication that has been relayed, ultimately, it feels like there’s been constant delays resulting from lack of planning & preparation, if not, outright lack of desire or care for my vehicle. I understand things can go wrong, but that’s why there’s planning & preparation - never assume the location of what needs to be repaired. Because it’s always that one time is when the mistake of assuming occurs. When Don Perry’s was in Fort Worth, I remember things being done more efficiently, less haggle, and less need to follow up. I simply don’t see that same Don Perry “taking care of me like family” when it’s been several delays over 5 days & counting (4 business days & counting) and people unable to give me a specific commitment of when things can get done. It is also frustrating as I am having to pay for Uber during these delays. As my car is expected to be completed today (4/15), I would like to see that Fort Worth Don Perry spirit come back and a man’s word be a man’s word and make commitments & keep them; and my car being complete and a proper discussion on price given these continued delays. If customers are still “like family”, let’s talk and see actions and not words. (Actions speak louder than words). Disappointing experience this time around.

Hands down the best mechanic shop! Everyone there has been amazing while my car was being stubborn! Kelly & Don were very helpful and walked me through the process. My previous mechanic didn’t even check to see that my spark plugs needed to be replaced! Mechanic 101, in my opinion! My opinion being a woman & seeing Kelly there was awesome!! Mechanics did an awesome job @ troubleshooting to figure out what was wrong! Thank you Don Perry & Staff! Definitely recommend Don Perry’s garage to anyone!
