My personal experience was very positive with Crawford and Bargas. I have a 1999 Roadtrek and a 1998 Chevy Express that they worked on. Both required a good amount of work and it took some time (less than 3-7 days per vehicle) for both but the over all results were satisfactory. They even repaired for free a faulty part. My Chevy Express who I call Josephine had a gas line break months back had became faulty and leaked fuel recently. They replaced the part for free. They even fixed this annoying sound like bearings grinding. The last mechanic I used said it was the alternator but it was the air compressor because when i got her back she was quiet. This has me elated. So I am very pleased with the work that was performed on both my vehicles. Great Job Guys!!!

Took my car up there to see why it was running rough. First i took it to autozone and the meter said i just needed to change the spark plugs and ignition coils. I took it to Crawford and bargus just to make sure that was all it was. I had a small crack in my manifold that I had fixed and sealed a couple of months ago and I wasn't having any air leaks so i knew that wasn't the issue. when i took it up there. The machenic broke that seal and told me I needed a whole new manifold and tried to act like he didn't do it. Luckily I took a before picture before I took it up there. They told me I had to pay 450 to fix that before they could tell me what else is wrong with it. So their saying that the diagnosis machine couldn't tell me everything that was wrong with it until I got that fix first which I knew was a lie. They are LIARS and they will mess stuff up to get you to replace stuff you dont need to replace. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THESE PEOPLE. If I could give them 0 stars I would and they over charge also. They still charged me 130 dollars for just the diagnosis. I REPEAT DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THESE PEOPLE. I am in the process of speaking to a lawyer about how they messed up my seal on my manifold cause I have the before and after picture and if I can sue I will.

dude, I TRIED. I tried to not have to do this. i got my truck back after a month or so. I couldn't afford the repairs, 5500 for engine replacement. no idea if that's a lot but it sounds like 5500. would have if I could have. my issue is the top to my fuse box, 3 spark plugs and a fuel injector not being found when the vehicle was towed there, whole. then the tried to say that I didn't leave a $300 key fob with them. they eventually found it. spoke to 4 ppl , including rusty the owner, twice and the best he could say was that he "didn't know what to say other then that they didn't have anything for me." I will say they didn't charge me for storage, but between the missing parts, the fact that I had to put the top of my engine back together myself .. plugs, coil packs that were left on the front window, the upper intake... ect.. come on man! you acted like I was lying about the 3 plugs and 1 injector.. who would do that?

I met with the owner, Randy, to discuss my fleet vehicle needs, specifically looking for a reliable local shop to do oil changes and all Maintenance. Despite my intentions to support a local business, I am dissatisfied with the service provided. I was charged $185 for an oil change, yet the requested tire rotation and fluid checks were not performed. When I inquired about the tire rotation, the owner’s reaction was unprofessional and dismissive. Furthermore, I have noticed frequent turnover among your technicians, which raises concerns regarding the consistency and quality of your work. While I had planned to entrust you with my '64 Nova, I have decided to take my business elsewhere to a more professional environment. I hope you find this feedback constructive as you look to improve your customer relations and service standards.

The new owner bought the Crawford Bargas name for it's recognition and reputation. But, they didn't have money left for hiring talent. End of an era. No communication and a ridiculous estimate.
