This place is no longer honest. They quoted me a price to repair my car, but when I picked it up, they increased the labor charge. When I asked about it, they said that when they checked my car out, there wasn't any additional work they could do, so they arbitrarily increased the labor charge without any discussion, in addition to charging a high fee for the evaluation. Most places credit the evaluation charge if you allow them to do the work. I felt taken advantage of and pressured to pay the higher cost to get my car back. They lost a customer for good.

Had car towed there from my house around the corner. Sat for days. Called a few times for updates but never received a quote or progress report or anything. The lady who answers the phone was very nice every time I called, but didn’t follow through on quotes or anything. I don’t know if they had the wrong number or what. Finally I called and had someone tow it to my usual shop near my work (CityLine Automotive in Wylie). They had it up and running in a few days with multiple calls and texts about the repairs. It’s bummer that I had to pay like another $175 to get it towed a second time.

Finally an honest and trustworthy mechanic! I recently bought a pre-owned RDX for my daughter and after purchasing it, even though everything looked good, I brought it to Schroeder’s for a thorough checkup on it from bumper to bumper. When I called they were able to get me in quickly and convenient to my schedule. When I arrived the receptionist was super friendly and assured me everything would get taken care of. When I picked it up they told me they had gone through it with a fine tooth comb, it was a great car, had no current issues or previous codes stored, and should last for a very long time. They never tried to sell me anything, or scare me into replacing anything…just good honest straight forward “everything looks great”! If I do ever have any issues with it, I will absolutely bring it to Schroeder’s because I know they’ll take good care of me again. What a breath of fresh air from dealerships trying to upsell overpriced services and items I don’t need. Thank you very much Schroeder’s!!

They were honest & didn’t try to over charge or add unnecessary repairs. Quick & efficient, they had my car done in one day, it was ready for pickup the next morning about 11:00. Very satisfied with their service & will spread the word. I will return for future repairs.
