Christian Brothers Automotive Allen

Everyone here is phenomenal. I've been taking my car here for years whenever I need an oil change or my car looked over. They're expanding their services as well such as tires and I was told window repair. I have car part insurance though them as well with the "Nice Difference Care+." I often go on road trips so I hit my 4,000 miles quite often compared to the average driver. No matter how far I go, I always return to THIS Christian Brothers.

Best mechanic hands down! I normally look for Mom and Pop shops because I tend to trust them more, but I am blown away at the quality of service at Christian Brothers Automotive in Allen! They truly take customer service to a whole new level. From the moment my young son and I walked in we were warmly greeted and checked in. Everyone made friendly conversation and lovingly embraced my 6 year old son and all his talkativeness. I was given deep care and transparent quotes on all pricing and scope of service from beginning to end. They even gave us a ride home so my baby didn't have to be bored out of his mind while we waited on the car. They took detailed pictures and notes of their thorough inspection of our car, and I was beyond grateful. Normally I am super annoyed and turned off when mechanics find more than they need to find for a simple oil change. Far too often mechanics try to upcharge you and get you worried about 10,000 different things in the car, jacking the price up higher unnecessarily, but not with CBA. They helped talked me through everything in a way I could understand and did not pressure me at all. My SUV has been in 2 accidents this year and they found things that was in my best interest to address to keep my car safe and running strong, and helped me understand what waiting could cause and how long I roughly could wait. I will never go anywhere else and I cannot recommend them more! They far exceeded my expectations and I am so grateful to have a mechanic I can trust, that will pray with me, and go beyond the call of duty to fully deliver for me as a customer.

If your idea of a 7:00 AM appointment is not looking at the car until late afternoon, then Christian Brothers is the place for you. I dropped my 2018 Mazda3 off at 7:00 AM for a diagnosis of a noise. There was absolutely no communication throughout the day. I finally had to call and ask for an update myself, only to be told they would need to keep the car until the next day. What made it even more frustrating was that my car had already been returned to the parking lot while I was still sitting in the waiting area with no one explaining what was going on. Even getting my keys back seemed to be challenging for them. The inspection itself was free, but the lack of communication were extremely disappointing. I later took my car to Firestone, where they inspected it and did not identify any of the issues that Christian Brothers had listed on their inspection. That left me with very little confidence in the inspection I received. I won't be returning. A 7:00 AM appointment should not turn into an all-day wait with virtually no communication, and to only be told they need to keep it overnight.

Wait was a little long but they were admittedly very busy. Very friendly, courteous and professional people to deal with and their work is outstanding. The check of my auto was exhaustive and there was no pressure to complete any of the suggested maintenance items. I will certainly use them again for any needed repairs and ongoing regular maintenance of my cars.
