This has been the worst car-buying experience I have ever had. I came to this dealership after my previous vehicle was declared a total loss and made it very clear from the beginning what my situation was. On Wednesday, I told the salesperson that I would not have my down payment until Friday. He showed me a Volkswagen Tiguan that I liked, but it already had several issues: the key fob did not work, the windshield had a chip, the sunglasses holder was missing, and the vehicle smelled like marijuana. I was assured that the key fob issue would be taken care of and that the windshield would be replaced. Based on those assurances, I moved forward with the purchase. From that point on, I was repeatedly given inaccurate information and sent from one place to another with no real resolution. I returned to the dealership multiple times, took time away from work, and rearranged my schedule because I was repeatedly told these issues would be quick and easy to fix. First, I was told changing the key fob battery would solve the problem. It did not. Then I was told disconnecting the battery would fix it. It did not. Next, I was told to take the vehicle to a locksmith. After making arrangements for someone else to help me get the vehicle there, I learned the repair would cost around $500. After that, I was told to go to Volkswagen because the dealership had supposedly already spoken to someone there and the issue would be handled at no cost to me. When I arrived at Volkswagen, I learned that the person they claimed to have spoken with was not even the person who handles key fobs. I was also informed that nothing could be done until Monday and that I would still need to return again to have a replacement key programmed. In other words, the information I was given by the dealership was incorrect. At the same time, the windshield issue remains unresolved, and I am still being directed to additional appointments to address a problem that should have been handled before the vehicle was sold. What is most disappointing is the complete lack of communication and coordination. After several days of dealing with these issues, a manager informed me that he had only become aware of the situation the day before. These problems began on Wednesday, and by Saturday there still appeared to be no clear plan to resolve them. I have owned this vehicle for less than a week, yet I have already had to take time off work, risk problems with my employer, depend on other people for transportation, and spend countless hours trying to resolve issues that existed before I ever took possession of the vehicle. That is unacceptable. I understand that used vehicles can have issues. What I do not accept is being given repeated assurances that problems will be fixed, only to be sent from one place to another while receiving conflicting information at every step. At this point, I regret purchasing this vehicle from this dealership. The sale may be final, but so is my decision never to do business here again. I would strongly encourage anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from this dealership to think carefully before doing so.

I spend about 100 bucks on an oil change in my neighborhood. It was about 100 bucks here. That's pretty decent.

I bought a used car at the end of Dec.. It didn't even make it to the first oil change! I have been without a car for over a month. I contacted them and they told me all they could do was sell me another car if I could get a co-signer. I lost one of my jobs due to no transportation. I also can't start my new job. Am barely holding on to my other job. Rides are hard to come by.

It's always a pleasure getting my car taken care of at Ben Franklin. The service center always provides exceptional service! Jaime always makes me feel welcome and answers any questions I have. He always has a friendly smile that makes me feel welcome every time I drop my vehicle off. If you have any car issues this is the place to go!!

I bought my car here and have had it serviced only here. Jaime T. is an awesome rep and is very helpful. However, all 4 times I’ve come in my car was never cleaned as it was supposed to be. Jaime gave me a card for a free full detail to make up for this. I called this past Friday to make an appointment for Monday. I asked to speak to Jaime and the individual who answered the phone informed me that he was Jaime (we found out later he was not)I asked him for a total on the service and he informed me that is was $300 for everything. I was also informed with the services I needed for my vehicle and the full detail cleaning that they would need the car all day. My brother and I went to the nearby movie theatre to kill time until 5 o’clock. We got a call back at 1230 letting us know the car was ready. Confused us because they said they needed the car all day. Turns out no detail cleaning was done (apparently the individual who did the appointment did not put it in there) and the $300 I was told it would be turned into $425. We paid 125 more then we were supposed to and the car still never got detailed, and we spoke to a rep that was pretending to be someone else (disturbing). When I informed the manager what occurred all they could say was “thank you for bringing this to my attention” you could tell they could all care less. The guy who sold me the car Does not work there anymore unfortunately as he would have addressed the matter I’m sure. so highly disappointed in ole Ben Franklin Mitsubishi. Have to find somewhere else to take my Buisness now.
