Was recommended to this garage. Not sure what happened but he broke my speedometer & didnt fix it nor offer to once it was pointed out. Also had to pay $20.00 just to process a card & then I took it elsewhere to get it fixed completely. I felt overcharged & with job not finished as well but was paid for
View on GoogleMarty has a lot of positive qualities, but one problem that is a total deal killer for me. Yes, he is courteous, knowledgeable, honest & reasonable, easy to talk to, works quickly (once you manage to get your vehicle in the shop), and does good quality work. And he goes the extra mile to save you money. But he takes the blue ribbon for the worst time manager I've ever seen in a business. In my 66 years, I have dealt with a LOT of mechanics. But I have NEVER had anyone repeatedly put me off, schedule & reschedule me over a period of weeks with the excuse that my job "has to be done in between other jobs and will take all day" (I just found a mechanic that took me the next day, and although he told me the EXACT same thing Marty did, he had the job done IN TWO HOURS FLAT, did a great job, and was just as reasonably priced as Marty). Marty repeatedly told me to "call at 9 am Monday morning", which I did, for 2 or 3 different weeks. Each time I was told either "it will be Friday now", or "I'm already booked up this week". Marty is a good person with good intentions, and because of that, he has more customers than he knows what to do with. If you can deal with the runaround, fine. I can't.
View on GoogleTalked to him last week and he said to call back Monday morning to get on his schedule. No problem. Called Monday morning was told to bring the car before 5pm today, Wednesday, so he could do the work tomorrow, Thursday. Pulled in at 4:50 pm to a locked shop with nobody around d and no one answering the phone. Just a closed sign by the door. Not professional.
View on GoogleMarty is the best. He will never tell you that something needs to be fixed/replaced that doesn't, he will never overcharge you, and his work is impeccable. My family has been going to Power Performance for about 25 years.
