So we have a 2020 Cadillac XT5 and it was leaking some orange fluid in our garage, we took it to Cadillac of Knoxville for an evaluation of the leak (which they charged us $270). They told us that the radiator had a small leak and needed to be replaced and since it had 60K miles it needed a tune-up also. In total, Cadillac of Knoxville wanted over $3700 for those two items....I passed. I took it Automotive Solutions for a second opinion and they estimated a price for both those items at only $1800. After dropping it off, I got the dreaded call (most of the time) a few hours later. I spoke with Barry and he told me that they have pressure tested the radiator for over 45 minutes and there is no detection of a leak. Best he could figure is that maybe they over-filled it during the last service, but advised us to keep an eye on it....No replacement needed. He then talked to me about the tune-up, which he said the recommended manufacture tune-up mileage is 97.5K, not 60K that Knoxville told me. He said his wife has the same car and he will stick with the manufacture recommendations. So in summary, we did none of the work that Cadillac of Knoxville wanted to charge us $3700 and the car is running great and still there are no signs of any leakage on our garage floor. Automotive Solutions has a customer for life, honesty and integrity is getting harder and harder to find these days so I can't recommend the Team at Automotive Solutions any higher than this novel I just forced you to read :)

I took my car for an oil change to a franchise-type mechanic shop. They inspected my car and found a few issues wrong with it, which needed immediate attention, and would cost over $1,500. They scared me by telling me that I had to get the serpentine belt changed immediately because it could cause damage to the engine if it tore. Was referred by a former classmate of the owner. I live in Powell, so there are plenty of closer options. I've had both of my vehicles, Toyota Prius, and Honda Pilot, seviced here. This will be my 3rd time here, because this is an honest shop, if you don't need it (even if you ask for it), they qill let you know rather than take the easy money. My Pilot was serviced prior to a 6k mile roadtrip, never had a problem, or a concern the entire trip. Peace of mind is priceless, you get that here, that's why I go the extra miles to get here, because they go the extra miles for me.
