The owner yugo is very nice and knowledgeable about what they do. They take their time to make sure everything is done completely right and their pricing is very fair. I took my corvette and solstice there and they did an amazing job and treated it like their car. Definitely would recommend if you are sick of the big corporations and shops taking your money with nothing to show for it. Would use again and again. They do a little bit of everything. Would trust this shop with any of my cars in the lenoir area.

We did not have good experience. After contacting owner in November of 2024 asking if he could restore a sentimental vintage snap on tool box we delivered the box in December of 2024. The agreement was that this small project would be finished by the end of January 2025 or some time around then. There was no further communication by the owner despite several attempts checking in until mid march 2025. At that point the owner then said he didn’t have the paint. We personally purchased paint and thinner and delivered within 3 days. No further communication by owner again until late April of 2025 stating that the box would be painted the following day and ready for pick up. After this communication fell silent once again until early June 2025 in which he responded to us asking about and needing to pick it up either way. Owner stated to “come pick it up he will set it outside if they are not there”. We went by on two occasions and didn’t see the box. Today June 13 I messaged him again saying that we came by and didn’t see the box. Owner stated “well, I’m not gonna leave it outside”. At that point we kindly reminded him what he told us and things became very unprofessional with this gentleman. The box was taken apart somewhat and not painted. When I told him it’s unfortunate that he didn’t honor his word/kept our item nearly 8 months with hardly any communication, He stated that he only told us to bring the box by and he would “try to” work it in. He also stated that “he doesn’t do this king of work”. We showed him the prior conversations and he became angry and said it didn’t matter to come get it or he will throw it in the garbage. We reminded him to please refrain that this was a sentimental piece. There was a lot of talk on his part about having balls, and saying this to his face and so on. Which I’m a woman. Husband and I went to shop today to pick up and it was more of the same behavior. He said he didn’t care the he was speaking to a woman about having balls To sum it up this gentleman had zero accountability for his actions, is not professional in talk, and felt that we shouldn’t have mentioned that it was unfortunate he kept the item so long. He’s a older gentleman who’s a bit short and really came out postured talking very down to me and my Husband who was very patient with his attitude. As a customer we simply expected honesty, communication, and respect. This gentleman would offer none of those things and had zero truth or accountability in his response of handling this.

Excellent automotive service! Fast, reliable and cost effective indeed. Yugo is the proprietor who is an excellent mechanic as well! I will be returning in the future for all my service needs 🙂
