Lenoir City Ford, Inc. Service

This is a really great dealership! They do a wonderful job on both the sales and the service side. They are constantly busy and they earn the business every time we go. I wish there were more dealerships like this, however this is one of the best in the entire knoxville, Maryville, Alcoa and Lenoir City areas!

I installed a trailer brake controller on my f150 and I needed it activated on the ford software in my truck. They got me in last minute because I was going on a road trip. I did my research on this procedure, and I'm a former mechanic myself, and it's a 10-15 minute process to hook up the computer and change the settings. Most people pay about $40 for this at dealerships according to Ford forums online and from several friends of mine who had it done... So I said no problem, I'll pay a dealer to do it too. I thought if they're a little high, maybe $60-$70. Dropped it off and before picking it up, my service advisor, Tyler Finger, told me it would be about $300 and I could pick it up after paying. I told him there is no way I'm paying that much. He told me they aren't the cheapest dealer around and often times the most expensive because their work is great quality and you get what you pay for. BULLCRAP. I told him I'm not paying that much money for that quick job. He tried to act like there was more to it than the was and could take a full hour to hook up to the one port and change a setting on the truck. I've done this in the past before closing my own shop. I knew he was full of crap. He kept telling me that was the price and I had to pay. I called back again and told him there is no way I'm paying that much. He said the tech was gone for the day and he could call him and ask if he was willing to charge me for less time but it was up to the tech. It is a ten minute job and you want to blame the tech for the dealer's rates like it's their choice? Anyway, he called back and cut the price in half... Still a very RIDICULOUS $144 price! I have often used Ford dealerships for my vehicles...I've owned at least a dozen Ford trucks and cars... But I will drive an hour further from now on to a different Ford dealer before I ever deal with these rip off jokers again. I only gave them two stars instead of one for getting me done by my deadline and cutting the price to half which was still ridiculously high.

Worst customer Service in the service department I have received in my 47 years . Bought Car there was towed in 7 days ago for service . When we called to talk with someone on that Saturday guy said just have it towed in Monday and he verified we had warranty and was super Nice than Monday comes had it towed the Service Advisor said he would let us know every step of the way through the process from car arriving to receiving a text to sign and then would keep us updated . By Monday evening never heard a word we called to make sure first person said no then we talked with someone else they said yes it arrived . Service advisor never sent any text to sign no paperwork was ever signed by us . Only received a text asking permission to send text is all we got . Not one time did the advisor text updates . He called two days later with diagnosis and said it was two hour job and they ordered parts would be in next day that was the Last and only call we received from him . We had to call repetitively for days to get someone to answer was always a promised call back even asked to talk with manger left message and no one ever called us had to pay 272 bucks because we had warranty plus pay extra on rental car that warranty didn’t cover because I was told tech had med procedure and it would be next week . Warranty only wanted to cover two day rental because 1.5 hr was put on service record . When I called to get Advisor to fix this because I needed a vehicle to get back forth to work he was rude to me and said he never put 1.5 hr service in record to warranty group like he wanted to argue . I asked him to please fix and let me know and he still gave me no answers I even called back because warranty person told me no one extended it for me . I spoke with a lady and she said someone would call me back and would see if someone else could fix sooner no call backs . My spouse called and asked for Manger .Advisor got back on phone and argued with my spouse said he did notify every step of way which was a lie he just lied over and over . Vehicle was ready today and he said he was about to call us at 5:30 pm . He Was the rudest advisor unprofessional and wanted to argue I am out extra money for rental because it took 7 days to do 1.5 hr job . Also was never informed in beginning I had a deducible and tax to pay before they did the work either . I was going to buy a new ford from them but after the service I got from that guy and no call backs from manager I would not recommend them to anyone .

Was early the service rep was quick to see us as well rescheduled for a time they would have a "loaner" vehicle available
