This post is from Toby's husband, Wayne Magill. We took our 1997 Monterey boat with the 7.4L Mercruiser and Bravo 3 drive to Gary for annual service. Since we had not had an "in-shop service" performed for several years we wanted a complete assessment of the engine and drive train. Gary gave me an estimate up front, discussed the likely items that may need attention in such an older boat and did not try to "sell" me anything. He performed the assessment, informed me of the findings, provided his recommendations and did the tasks we agreed upon. H saved all the replaced parts to show me and made recommendations to watch for during them next service. He charged just what he quoted up front and actually finished the the job ahead of the promised date. I will use Gary again without hesitation.

This guy is as shady as they come! Would not recommend by any means. Took a friend of mine for 17,000.00 and still no boat. Kept the boat a year, ordered and charged customer for new parts that never went on his boat. Was rude and condescending the entire time. Had to have the sherrifs dept there to get his boat.
View on GoogleTook boat for fiberglass repair in 2020. Gave $2500 down payment, no meaningful work performed, eventually had to reclaim my boat so I could get it fixed after 5 months. No refund, sued, have judgement but still no money. I am a 100% disabled vet, trusted this guy and he ripped me off.
View on GoogleDon't know much about Gary's work but definitely don't take it to jim Courtney in lenoir city off Loudoun ridge rd left the plug out of my boat in was in when I dropped it off it sunk said that's the first thing a boater should check them turned around and said he's left the plug out of his boat guess he's not a boater also said he can't count the # of people that has left his shop calling him about there plug being out I bet jim a heads up would have been nice hey by the way I took your plug out
