Great shop- have used them for minor things up to a total engine replacement over the past five years. Very honest, skillful and fair pricing. You can't go wrong. I drive 45 minutes- past many other shops- and have never gotten anything other than the best service with no unexpected surprises. These are real mechanics, not simple technicians who merely swap out parts.

I've always been happy with the work done on my car. Besides actual repairs done, I've had my car in twice to see what might be wrong. The first time, nothing found. Second time, they found the issue but it wasn't urgent. Neither time did he charge me for just looking at it. It's best to call ahead for an appt, because they are very busy almost all the time.

This mechanic is very honest. Another local shop called Free Service Tire and Auto Center charged a large amount to "fix the air the best they could". The owner at Hofker Auto in turn truly fixed the AC for a lot less than the other shop. I'm glad to have found an honest mechanic finally.
