I like these guys. Jack's customer service is spot on. Had a noisy rear diff. They diagnosed it quickly (within 24hr). Gave me a clear estimate. They started the next day and had the job done early. I dropped by the shop and let me look at their progress on the lift and showed me the damage. I trust them and will definitely use them again and highly recommend. Very positive experience. View on GoogleCalled and dropped off truck they called back in 2 hours and told me the problem and then explained price of transmission. I decided to do a total rebuild . They called in three days and truck is perfect. Very professional and great service. Note I have used one transmission repair in the past on a another truck and was told they were the best in Knoxville after waiting 9 weeks o had to pick up the truck from them because it hadn’t been touched yet and was still sitting where it was parked . But I had my truck back in 3 days here . I will definitely use them again
View on GoogleThe last week of October my lady and I were on our way to Gatlinburg from Florida to see the leaves changing ,when just outside of Knoxville the transmission in my Chevrolet powered class b+ motorhome gave out. After calling a few local transmission shops,they were all backed up about 2 weeks or more. It was almost 5 pm on Monday and worry was start to set in . I called Jack at economy transmission, we determined that my motorhome would fit in his shop , Jack waited after hours for us and we got my MH parked safe inside. The following morning, Tuesday he checked the transmission (needing a rebuild) gave me a fair estimate, which I accepted he and his crew started to work. Well Friday about noon I got a call saying to come and pickup my MH, it was finished. We arrived at his shop about 2:00 , paid our bill ,exactly as quoted and headed home right on schedule. We made it home without issue safe and sound with a fresh rebuilt transmission. For what seemed like a big problem, Economy Transmission and Jack were the prefect solution. He gave me a fixed quote and stuck to the quote . work was completed in 8 working days. no other shop seemed to know exactly what it would cost. strange right, since there are thousands of these cars out there. thanks Jack!
