I had a great experience at Car Fix Western. They handled an electrical repair and an oil change for me, and everything was done quickly and professionally. The pricing was very fair, and the service was fast without cutting corners. Andrew was the best—super helpful, knowledgeable, and made the whole process easy. I definitely recommend this shop if you’re looking for quality work and great customer service!!!

Super easy to schedule with. They’ve helped me out plenty of times in a pinch, and they tend to advise me if they see any other irregularities with my vehicle during service (which helps with preventative maintenance). Staff is always super professional and nice!

I had a great experience bringing my truck in here. The mechanic really went above and beyond to take care of everything. He was honest about what needed to be fixed, didn’t try to upsell anything unnecessary, and took the time to explain the work in a way that actually made sense. The quality of the work was top-notch, and my truck is running better than it has in a long time. On top of that, the pricing was more than fair, especially for the level of service I received. It’s not easy to find someone you can trust with your vehicle, but this is definitely a place I’ll be coming back to. Highly recommend to anyone looking for reliable, skilled work at a good price.

CarFix on Western Ave, and in particular Pete, one of the service advisors here, always takes care of me. He’s a honest, kind-hearted person who takes pride in offering good customer service and I really appreciate him for it. This location is usually always busy so if you walk-in, prepare to drop-off your vehicle for the day if you don’t have an appointment, but it’ll be worth your time and they work quickly and as efficiently as they can for the number of cars you’ll see in the parking lot. They’ve got the best prices for quality of service and experience in Knoxville hands-down. They also usually have some good specials or coupons for a variety of services on their website or in their mailers if you get them. I’ve been going here for a few years now, and my 2 vehicles never have issues when I get them serviced here vs other places I’ve tried! I appreciate their business so much

Think twice before coming here!!!! They are either scamming people knowingly or do not know what they are doing!! I had some car trouble while visiting from out of town with my husband and 2 children. I came here thinking these were honest people. They seemed very knowledgeable and were very friendly. The codes that came up at an AutoZone (P0137, P0306, P0316, P2270) prompted them to run a diagnostic workup. I was told I needed all fuel injectors replaced on my 2014 Ford Explorer. Also recommended a few other things which all totaled $2100.00. I was told in order to safety hit the road again i needed the repair. After picking up my car following the repair and hitting the road to my next destination in Pigeon Forge, I was only on the road 30 minutes when the Check Engine light went on. Stopped at AutoZone, and the code that came up was for Fuel Injector (this was supposedly fixed) and a new code 219. Called them and was told we had to return to their establishment so they could take a look. I returned the following morning and they ended up replacing the PCV Valve. We asked if they could check the fuel injectors that were installed to make sure everything was installed properly and they refused. So again we were told the car was safe to drive. As I was beginning my trip home (around 850 miles), 45 minutes into the drive, the Check Engine light came back on AGAIN! Another trip to AutoZone indicated yet again a code for the FUEL Injector that was replaced and also a new code 219 that did not come up prior to this facility putting their hands on my car. Thankfully we made the long trip home safely before finding a local mechanic to address the issues. The new mechanic was absolutely disgusted with the work done on my car! Not only did they put the car back together in a sloppy manner, but after working on the vehicle (another diagnostic workup, taking apart the engine) they found this facility installed only 3 FORD Fuel Injectors and then used another 3 generic Fuel injectors that were not even for a FORD Explorer. So not only did they mix match parts but they used parts that did not fit my car and were only held in place and not clipped on by being bolted down by another part. Not having all of the same type of Fuel Injectors installed was not only dangerous but they could have severely caused more damage to my car. With the initial codes that came up, they were shocked at how quickly the work was completed (3-4 hours) and the actual work they did, and the price i was charged. I do not recommend this facility at all. UPDATE: Within 1 hour of posting my review I received a call from the manager, Johnny, as he wanted to investigate my concerns and stated numerous times he wanted to “make things right “ and wanted “me to be happy”. I appreciated this and after he did some digging called me back and offered me a partial refund if I took my review down. He also took accountability for his shop doing the work incorrectly. I informed him I needed to speak with my husband and would get back to him in regards to his offer as we were concerned about this potentially happening to someone else. The next day when I called Johnny to follow up our conversation from the day prior he informed me he did more digging and spoke with everyone he needed to speak with and that his facility was no longer taking accountability for what happened. I was taken aback at his change of tone and responsibility for what occurred at his establishment. He confirmed to me that he was retracting everything we discussed the day prior. I informed him I was going to be contacting the BBB as I was worried about something like this happening to someone else. Come to find they ARE NOT accredited with the BBB, so BUYERS beware! It was interesting to see how many positive reviews have been added that were not there prior to my post! Do your research and beware. It’s too bad their work didn’t match their initial demeanor.
