Do not take your car here they are not specialists. I needed an alternator on my 2009 Nissan maxima. I looked up the address to Lerch’s and got the car towed. When I went to check on the vehicle I discovered google still had their old address and that my car was at Asian auto. Once the alternator was installed I went to get new tires. After a wait they went to pull the cat around and it wouldn’t start. Each time we jumped off the car when we removed the cables the car would die. Of course this is because the alternator is not charging. I called back to the shop and spoke with Nick the manager. He tells me it’s the battery. I told him since I was 5 years old I’ve known that this symptom indicates the alternator. After a few minutes he managed to get me to doubt my knowledge but I told him if I get stranded in the side of the road I’m gonna be pissed. Put in a new battery and of course it dies the next night on Jim Wolf rd at 12:30 am. Called roadside assistance and they were backed up that night. I was out there on the side of the road until 4:30 in the same morning. When I called Nick the next day he started double talking out the side of his mouth and claimed he didn’t tell me on 2 different calls that he was certain it was the battery. Come to find out they put the wrong size alternator in the car. Nobody gave a dam that I sat on Jim Wolf rd 4 hours cause this so called manager is an idiot. I’m still mad at myself for falling for his BS. Save yourself the headache and the passing the buck and excuses for their mistakes and go to Lerch’s they are the best in town and well worth the wait. I will be more than happy to explain why after months I decided to share my experience. But first I want to say nobody told me that the alternator probably wasn’t going to work. I sincerely believe I would remember that. My kid brought you his car. You couldn’t rebuild the engine or find him a replacement. He missed your calls mostly cause he’s on third shift and you had his car towed yesterday. Your guy Nick talked to me like I’m not supposed to be upset. We came up there a couple weeks ago to check on things and that would have been a great time for somebody to tell us about your tow policy. Especially since you weren’t going to do anything else with the vehicle except count to 30 and call the tow truck. He said you guys didn’t know we were family and didn’t have my number. I announced that he was my son and we both know you gave my number. I would have appreciated a call too and it would have been taken care of. But yet again we are out of more money on useless tow bills. There’s really nothing for you to try to explain away. We came up there in the car you fixed. I just don’t feel like that’s good customer service. That’s lazy service and taking the easy way out. You could at least admit somebody could have called me too instead of trying to make me sound stupid saying I told you to put something on my car that probably won’t work I think I was tons the opposite. That this part should be fine.

I can’t say enough good things about this shop. They are honest, high-quality, and affordable. I’ve had them replace my wheel bearings and, more recently, my struts, and the work has always been excellent. The Toyota dealership told me I needed a completely new axle, and another chain shop tried to convince me of several expensive repairs. Kenny at Asian Auto looked at everything and reassured me that none of that was necessary. That level of honesty is hard to find. They only recommend what you actually need and their prices are extremely fair. As a woman who doesn’t know much about cars, I really appreciate that they never try to upsell me or take advantage of that. I saved over 1,000 coming here rather than the dealership. I’ve had great experiences every time, and I trust them completely. Highly recommend to anyone needing repairs or even just a general check on their car! They are also very fast and efficient with their scheduling.

I was referred by another garage to AAS and what a great experience. They did a great job on the maintenance I needed (rear suspension) and did not try to "upsell" me. Honest and solid quote with no hidden surcharges. Strongly recommend!

I took our 2019 Subaru Forrester to Car Fix for an engine light check diagnosis. For what needed to be done they wanted way , way too much money . A friend of mine told me about Asian Auto Specialist. They did a diagnosis and came up with the same results and repaired the car for half the price . We appreciate their HONESTY and prompt service.

I took my 1991 Mitsubishi 3000gt SL with 116K miles to have several issues addressed. I selected Asian Auto Specialist since they have 30+ years experience and had overwhelming great reviews. When I dropped off the car, I left a list of things I needed checked. Nick who checked me in had owned and worked on his 3000gt and Kenny the owner and head mechanic had worked on several of these cars over the years. The main issue was difficulty in shifting the 5 speed manual transmission into 1st and 2nd gears. Fearing the worst, I expected the transmission would require a major overhaul. Other preventive work included timing belt replacement, and other components that were accessible with the timing belt preventative maintenance. They also adjusted the clutch switch and checked a power steering pump making noise. It turned out all the transmission needed was the replacement of a bushing on the gear shift linkage which are no longer available. Kenny called and said he could fabricate a bushing and provided a list of work he recommended along with an estimate. What I thought was a power steering pump going bad turned out to be a loose belt and belt tensioner needing lubrication. After the repairs the transmission shifts like new, power steering pump no longer makes noise, clutch switch is correctly adjusted, and timing belt maintenance is working well. I highly recommend Asian Auto Specialist. The staff were friendly, professional, honest, and knowledgeable. The labor and parts were reasonably priced. I wish I had found this shop 30 years ago!
