Had my transmission oil changed. Sounds easy enough except changing trans oil on my specific truck required a lot of unexpected details including replacing the entire pan as the filter is a part of the pan and built in, and the specific tranny oil needed is crazy expensive. These guys not only did an excellent job but went out of their way to reduce costs wherever they could. Truly take care of their customers. It's like I was a family member (I'm not) and they were helping me out. They explained in detail what had to be done, the state of the old oil, showed me the metal shavings I had acquired and even other potential things to look out for based on their overall evaluations. At all times I was notified of timing and associated costs involved. View on GoogleJust had some major engine work done by Alert Transmission. My car was leaking about 5 quarts of oil a week. I must say the people there are very informative and definitely know what they are doing. Scott, the man at the front desk, is very kind and easy to talk to too, he has a great personality which I find lacking from several other Auto Shops around town. He kept me updated on car's progress throughout the repair, and was always available if I had to talk to him or ask a question. The mechanics were very nice and had no problem showing what the issues were and explaining what has happened to my engine and what they were going to do. One of my favorite things about them is their pricing, I've gotten a few quotes from other auto shops in town which were suppose to be 'good' in their pricing, yet any other place was well over $1000 dollars for what I paid at Alert Transmission. With Scott's genius, he not only made it a great price for me, he also got me lifetime warranties on all the parts he could. It's amazing how great the service is and how affordable they made it. I've been to them in past and I plan to stay with them long into the future. I highly recommend their work and not only will I stand by it, they do too. They probably have one the best guarantee around town and some the best people working their. My car is now running better than when I bought it and thanks to them it will be running for another few decades.
