Fred's Garage

After driving around for 2 months with no heat, and the weather sometimes getting a low as the single digits, I finally had enough. I started checking around, and found this great place near me that did this kind of work. I checked the reviews and they were pretty good. I gave them a call this morning and took my car over. I'm telling you these are the nicest, friendliest people you ever want to meet. I thought it would be tomorrow before I would get my car fixed or longer if it took longer to get a part delivered. When they got inside to check on the part that was needed, they found it was just a bent wire keeping the temperature knob from working correctly. No expensive part was needed. Now how many garages would not try to gouge you and make you pay for a part you didn't even need. And believe me I've had that happen to me before. Fred's Garage will be my go to place from now on. Thank you so much.

My car wouldn’t start and I knew I’d be paying to diagnose the mystery problem, so I wanted to find an honest mechanic and came to Fred’s Garage based on these Google reviews. He turned out to be exactly the guy described by all the other loyal, grateful, satisfied customers. He was extremely personable, and went out of his way to make sure he knew what the problem was before spending time and money ordering an expensive replacement part. Because of his diligence, I had a wonderful surprise when he found out that I didn’t need a new fuel pump, but simply needed some wires replaced after a rodent had chewed through them completely. Fred saved me a ton of time and money that I’m confident would’ve been spent if I’d taken my car somewhere else. I honestly can say confidently that only Fred will be working on my car from this point forward, for service, maintenance, or repairs. I am super comfortable trusting him to make good decisions that will keep this car running as long as possible, without overpaying along the way. I give this my strongest recommendation if you are looking for an excellent mechanic that you can actually trust.

Fred's Garage is amazing. Our car started sputtering in the Great Smokey National Park. We managed to get it to his shop late Saturday and he made a special trip in on Martin Luther King Day to make sure we got back to Georgia at a fair price. Beth, Brock, and Fred are very friendly and Fred's got some great stories to tell. I would definitely recommend Fred's Garage.

So my brother has an 09cvpi and we couldn't get the ac to stay running we showed up at noon on a Saturday he said come on in ill get yall fixed up. My brother had replaced the sensors line connectors relay filled the ac with several different cans jic. after a couple of hours fred himself took a look at it and showed us that one of the grounds in the fuse panel wasnt operating correctly and he could fix it if we brought it back in a few days or show us how... So we eagerly listened cuz we like to make a day out of things til theyre done. So he charged us for dumping and filling the ac and we went home and fixed it thanks to him...its so cold now and for only really what came down to 2hrs of shop time and an hour of ours, its fixed and i now know a new thing to test for...thanks fred, unparalleled service 6 stars

If i could give a ZERO I WOULD. You all didnt give me a warranty. I paid 1,000 the i brought it back 200 more. I called u all back a few dats later bc it was still not working right. If you knew it was no good to fic you should told me. I could have saved 1,200. No you didn't. If you all was tha only place to fix my car in the world.
