Stumbled upon Wakefield Auto Repair while looking for a place to fix a tire rapidly loosing air. The two men were fantastic!! They dropped everything they were doing and fix my tire in under 10 minutes. So grateful for a wonderful experience.

Great Experience and super friendly guys! Im not from Rhode Island and wasnt aware how imfamous this state is for their potholes. They were able to help me out within a day and get me a new tire and replace it for me super fast for a reasonable price. I definitely recommend them to anyone.

As a parent, when your child is away at school and has car trouble, you worry about finding a trustworthy repair shop. Let me tell you, Wakefield Auto is exactly that. Gabe (the owner) and Zach were outstanding. My daughter’s car was towed in over the weekend (It was Saturday night and they were closed) and by Monday morning we had spoken, they quickly identified the issue—a disconnected fuel line from a previous repair back home. They communicated right away, fixed it efficiently, and charged a fair price for their labor. Most importantly, I never felt like we’d get taken advantage of. Wakefield Auto is a shop you can trust—even from 5 hours away.

This is a gem of a repair shop, and possibly easy to overlook since it's tucked into a small space adjacent a gas station. But the guys are friendly, genuine, and competent. I have used their services several times before, but today they were able to fit me in for an oil change when I had no appointment. Then, in the course of their doing that job, they discovered a CV axle leaking grease – and were able to replace that, as well as do the oil change, in under an hour. Solid work and a fair price.

Gabe and Zach are outstanding workers. They are fair. They’re honest, the repairs are done correctly and you can get in at a timely fashion to get your work done. Highly recommend them to anybody and to sum it up, Rhode Island wise, you will be satisfied!
