A Quick Tire & Auto Service Center

I absolutely am obsessed with this service shop. I have been coming here for at least 10 years and now I’m driving all the way from Providence to get there. Completely worth it. Yes you have to get there early and be in line before they open to get in and out super expedient service, just pretend you’re waiting for concert tickets. This crew is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, personable, I let them rebuild one truck from scratch, and now they’re Servicing my Dodge Challenger, 2017 GT all-wheel-drive, which is a unicorn. They don’t make those anymore… Thank God I have these meticulous, conscientious, superiorly knowledgeable technicians. I shouldn’t be telling you because now the Concert ticket line will be longer.

I’ve been going here for a few years now hoping to establish a trusted relationship with a local shop. My experiences to date have been mediocre/mixed. Today I had an appointment to have an oil change and lube job done. When I picked up the vehicle they stated there are no fittings/ grease points to lube, therefore unserviceable, they charged me $113 for an oil change. When I questioned the lack of lubed fittings they reiterated there aren’t any on the vehicle. I came home, googled it, found out there are six fittings. So I jacked up my car and sure enough there are six fittings that aren’t lubed. I called the shop and got zero satisfaction, when I stated there are indeed six fittings that they didn’t service the only response was “ uh huh” and then they hung up on me. So I had to lube the fittings myself even though that was part of the “service” I paid for. We will not be returning there with our vehicles nor will we continue to recommend them.

Had brought it in to get an estimate. Never got a call saying what was wrong with the vehicle or a price for what I would cost. Instead I get call saying g the truck is done and making no more noises. I pick it up and the problem seems like it hasn’t changed. I bring it back in to get a diagnosis for the issue I brought it in the first time for. I specifically asked this time to call me before any work is done so I can know and approve the work… nope. I get a call saying it’s all done. Not sure if I’m crazy but the other shops I’ve brought my vehicles to I’ve always had good communication with the mechanic and I was always asked for authorization for any work being done. Instead Quick tire will bang out a job before you even know what’s wrong with the car. And on top of that thy decided to chain smoke cigarettes on the inside of my vehicle. So now I have to fumigate what was once a non smoker vehicle… as someone who doesn’t smoke cigarettes it absolutely is disrespectful and disgusting. Over $1500 will be the best/ worst money spent for this type of lesson learned.
