I've taken my car there for 7 years now. He is honest, friendly, and dependable. The type of mechanic that won't sell you something you don't need. Instead, tell you the problem, his price, and what it may take to do on your own if you choose to. Other places will find no issues but call with 5 things that could hypothetically happen some day and beg you to let them do it. I don't take my car anywhere else now.

We had just moved to the area, so we didn't know where to take our car, and were nervous about finding a good place. We were so happy with the service at Thornburg Auto! Bill always takes great care of us, is clear, courteous and straightforward. The prices are reasonable and he does a great job noticing details we had missed when it came to our car, without ever pressuring us to do more than we felt necessary or appropriate. We took a Carvana car to Bill during the 7-day return window and he found concerning issues that were not disclosed in the Carvana report. So grateful for his help! We recommend Thornburg Auto to everyone.

View on GoogleWHAT A SCAM! They told my wife that if she didn't get a new wheel bearing and brake job that her tire would fall off while driving! No one needs these kinds of scare tactics. You sir, make all mechanics look bad and untrustworthy! Now I am stuck driving her car around because she doesn't feel safe driving it until I get a truthful mechanic to look it over (my car was not taken to their shop for any kinds of brake issues)
