Super simple and easy PA inspection/emissions service. I’d definitely go again. It really feels like a no-nonsense kind of place. They also facilitated after hours pickup, which was appreciated .

Mike saved me thousands of dollars and life with a lemon, with that he gained a customer and recommender for life! He could have easily just done the work but he said that I should try and return the car instead, advice that kept me from going broke. He could have had a steady customer shelling out thousand on a car but instead his advice helped me return a car that would have destroyed. I felt cared for which I never have at an auto shop! 100/10 these are GOOD PEOPLE!! PS: beware buying used cars from jersey 😭

Update: They claimed to have replaced my back rotors in May 2025, but here we are a year later and Midas is saying Wayne’s never replaced my rotors, just the pads. At this point, they are committing fraud. After my last horrible conversation with them and their lack of accountability, I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. *** I took my car here for a couple different things over the years. While they are more expensive than average in this area, I appreciated the fact that working with them was very low hassle. However, they recently botched a repair on my car and blamed me for it. They attached the engine splash shield on my car with standard metal screws and washers, so when I drove over snow the screws ripped through the new shield, making it impossible to reattach. I'll have to buy another shield, making this much more costly than it would be if they had attached it with the correct screws and washers. Over the phone, Mike admitted that the plastic screws that are meant for this purpose would usually break before ripping through the part, and that they "used whatever they had in the shop" to attach the shield. He then kept asking me, "well what do you want from me??" I told him I wanted them to compensate me in some way for the part that was damaged beyond repair as well as what I paid them to attach it (around $150 total, part+labor). He agreed, but then started ranting about how it wasn't fair, that I must know more than him with his 40 years of experience, and that people always come in thinking they know what's right. I decided I didn't want to continue talking with him, or work with them at all moving forward. I would not recommend this place.

I've been a customer for at least 10 years and they've always treated me with honesty, professionalism, and responsiveness - I know very little about cars so it's reassuring to have Wayne's Garage in my corner!

These guys swindled me and were extremely rude to boot. My check engine light came on, so I took the car to Wayne's. Mike recommended a $1,500 fix to my EVAP system. When I asked for the specific codes so I could do some research for myself, he didn't want to show them to me. I've never had a mechanic refuse to show me the codes before, and I should have trusted my gut and found a different garage right then. Unfortunately, I trusted Mike and said yes the expensive fix. The code was back within two days. A 5-minute Google search told me which specific piece of the EVAP system tends to break on my model of car. When I suggested that to Mike, he got defensive. He offered to diagnose it for free but said I would still have to pay full price for the second repair. He also tried to pressure me into spending another $1,000 on unnecessary tire and shock absorber replacements. I decided to go with a different mechanic and got the faulty piece fixed for $250 (when I called the second mechanic, he immediately knew which piece tends to break). Wish I hadn't wasted so much time and money at Wayne's first.
