Monte & Sons has taken such great care of me and my car since my first visit over a year ago. I’ve been going to them ever since and will continue to do so. They go above and beyond and really make you feel not just like a valued customer, but a valued person as well. I love supporting their small family owned business for their reliability, honesty, and attention, but I also just really love all of the friendly interactions and great conversations we always have each visit. Great with cars and great with people— I definitely recommend going to Monte & Sons. You’ll leave with a better car and a big smile :)

Monte and sons always do amazing work for a reasonable price. What I love most about these guys is how friendly and honest they are. While it not a necessary part of the exchange it’s always one you can expect and look forward to in addition to the GREAT work that they do. I’ve even driven out of state to have my work done with them. They’ve definitely earned our loyalty.

Ok, so I was referred to Monte & Sons after years of going to my "regular guy". Now mind you, I'm not going to say his shop, and I've always had respect for his work, but these days he's been there less and less, he's gotta life and that's understandable, his crew is cool, but I prefer that personal touch, you know? So, I figure, what the heck, let me go check out Monte & Sons... Funny I've been by it hundreds if not thousands of times and just never paid attention to it, but as i drove in, a bit apprehensive only because "some mechanics" are outright scoundrels and miscreants! But these guys seemed nice, no scratch that, they were nice, they asked me a buncha random stuff that had NOTHING to do with what I was there for, but I realized it was because they actually cared about how I was maintaining my vehicle. They shook their heads at me, like disappointed uncles when I admitted that I was kind of a negligent car owner, HA! They took care of me and I paid a fair price and out the door I went. Now let me say that I needed "other work" done and for some reason I found myself back at their shop, I just felt drawn back by their down-to-earth approach. I also was amused at their banter and I forgot to mention that I briefly spoke to other clients that were in there, they ALL had good things, like from the heart good things to say about these guys... So, back I was again, a butt of a joke regarding my upkeep of my car, as well as laughing at someone else whose turn it was... Ever listen to that AWESOME show that came on NPR, "Car Talk"? That's who these guys remind me of! "Click and freakin Clack, The Tappet Brothers" and they seem as earnest as those two lunatics did! So anyhow, long story short, I believe that I've found a new auto mechanic, I just have to get used to their "hours of operation" 👀 😂 🤣 but hey, if you want it enough, you'll figure it out and make the time work. Thanks Ricky, Pete, Joe (who is rarely there, HA!), and the rest of their crew... Good stuff, I appreciate the humor, the work, and more them that, the HUMANITY!

The gentleman here are so patient, lovely, and nice to work with. Took in my very old car & they gave an incredibly fair price to have work done on her. I've found my new spot! Thank you for being such good people!

What do we want from a car mechanic? Competence, honesty, prompt service, easy to make appointments, reasonable price. It’s a bonus if the whole staff are really nice people. Monte’s meets all these goals—at a 5-star level! We have been using them for about 30 years.
