Mike's Auto Repair

I will try to keep this short, but I have such a long history with this mechanic. I was referred to him by a worker at Auto Zone over 13-14 years ago. I showed up to Mike's shop with the wrong part, having spent my last on it, only to find out I needed an alternator instead. Mike advised me to take the part back and get the correct part, but the refund process at Auto Zone would have taken a few days to return my money back into my account. I explained this to him and Mike reached into his pocket and gave me the money I needed to purchase the alternator and told me to just add it to the cost of the repair when all the work was done. I went and got the alternator. He fixed my car within a day and I went back and paid him the money he lent me and for the repairs. That was over 13-14 years ago. My children whom I had with me on the day we met Mike were very young. They are now grown and they also take their cars to Mike because they witnessed for themselves not only the exceptional mechanic he is, but man as well. Can you even imagine a mechanic who at the time was a stranger you just met, to have so much compassion that he goes into his own pocket and loans you the money to buy the part you need to fix your car??? The amount of respect and gratitude I have for Mike is bar none. I have since referred friends to him as well and everyone comes back satisfied. I often pray that he outlives me because I can't imagine entrusting my car to anyone else.

Horrible establishment! Horrible men and I’ve witness that a black woman getting attacked by a Chinese guy. He is Horrible and bad customer service. No customer or a woman should ever be treated like that. Please don’t spend your hard earned money at this establishment. Please don’t.! I witnessed this horrible incident of a man trying to attack a woman. I called the police because this woman was being mistreated and the Chinese guy was aggressive he even raise his middle finger at her and she recorded everything. So stay away from this establishment.!!! Please everyone!!! Or be mistreated like this nice lady.

I had a terrible experience at this shop. The owner, Mike, is extremely rude and has no idea how to speak to people respectfully. His tone and attitude were nasty from the beginning, and I honestly felt like he was trying to take advantage of me just because I’m a woman. He acted like I didn’t know anything about cars and was super dismissive when I asked questions. He had me buy a bunch of parts without being clear or specific about exactly what I would need. Then told me he’d still charge me for the job even if the parts were wrong! That made no sense. Even after I bought all the parts he asked for, he told me I still needed more just to simply change brakes and rotors. It’s like he didn’t have anything at the shop himself. It felt unorganized and shady. In the end, I left and went to another mechanic who was way more knowledgeable and professional. I’m honestly shocked at how unprofessional Mike was. When I went to the shop before I had no problems with the staff that’s why I decided to go back but meeting the actual owner Mike, just rude. Never again. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere.

NEVER AGAIN!! Went to have a oil pan replaced, right after the car starts making a knocking sound. Go back. He rides around the block he says no sound. 30 mins later knocking. Ask him can u take the pan down and look? Oh you have to go to a dealer u went 14 miles u must've hit a hole or speed bump I can't help you...WTH! Go to another shop, who dropped the oil pan and found that MIKES left the plastic wrapper from the pan inside and the oil pump was blocked almost killing the engine. Nothing but God saved us! I wouldn't let them put air in my tires after this nonsense.

The owner Mike knows his stuff when it comes to cars & automotive repairs. He's brutally honest & reasonably priced. If you want to keep your vehicle on the road running correctly this is your facility. Come with patience because they have an active 1st come 1st serve business.
