I went to Jim's auto service for a full synthetic oil change As well as inspection on Friday 13th. I always expect the Inspection up charges either Brakes, Belts, tires, exhaust or wipers. It was the $50 wipers today that were less then a year old. Out the door just under $250 for an oil change and inspection. You make your own determination on that. However I had one of those magnetic suction phone holders in the quarter window. I took my phone off it before I walked inside the shop. I got my car back and a short drive home I didn't drive my car till Monday. Monday thats when I noticed it was missing. I called spoke with Mike he said he would check with the person who serviced my car. I get a call back its in your center console, ok. I check its not there so, I call back, mike again the person said its in the car"silence". I didn't call and acuse anyone say it was taken but the lack of care or concern of a missing item from a customer's car is crazy that you yourself said was moved. I ordered another one. It's not that big of a deal. However, it was mine and I paid for it And now I don't have it. There was no effort i've made to make the customer who felt like they were wronged over their $20+ phone holder that mike him self said was moved. Theres was no reason was taken out of his car or moved from the quarter window it wasn't in the way of anything. To lose a customer over something so small. A customer whonis look for a place for service since my warranty is up and everything will be out of pocket now.

I'm not going to lie I tried to find a new place to get my car fixed and honestly this was my mistake, I brung my car here not ONCE but TWICE. I brung it for the reason of a noise I was hearing within my brakes but then again I wasn't sure that's why I took it there. They did this whole inspection on my car and found everything wrong with it that had apparently NOTHING to do with the noise I was hearing. Said it would be $3700 to fix. Of course, I got on a payment plan, still had to pay $1100 to get it out the shop, (which I did). A day later, I'm still hearing the noise in my car, I'm like maybe I gotta break in the brakes or something, idk. But then like a few more days go by & the noise does not go away. I call the shop and they tell me to bring it back. *SO I DID* They tell me "oh it's nothing wrong with my car SAFETY WISE". That's nice, but I brung it originally for THE NOISE. Which still was not fixed. Because here it is again, another week later after getting my car back and the noise continues to be here. I have someone else call up there bc at this point I believe they are just trying to get over on me or something bc I'm a female. Of course I have no idea what they are talking about, all I know is I trusted them to fix a noise I was hearing in my car within the brakes, and they failed to do so. Now I'm stuck with a loan to pay back and just got services for things I NEVER asked to be fixed. I've had to rent a car 2 times. Mind you, when this person called up here for me they said oh it must be the brand of her brakes, what difference does it make? Are you guys not a mechanic shop, do you guys not fix brakes? I'm dissatisfied and disappointed in myself for trusting this shop to do what needed to be done. The customer service was great I'm not mad with that, it's the service I got. Btw they said I'd have to pay about $400 more for them to do my brakes when that was the reason I was there in the beginning. What service did I really get?
View on GoogleTerrible service. Check engine light and they kept my car for two days, didn’t call or tell me what was wrong, no pricing to fix the problem nothing. I decide to pop up around 5:30 before they close on Friday.. This clown behind the desk with shades on indooor says we don’t know what the issue is yet, didn’t show me the codes, he told me there was 2 codes and out of 2 codes they couldn’t narrow it down? but their about to close and they’ll keep my car until Monday because their closed on weekends. So if I didn’t pop up my car would just be sitting for another 2 days.. Told him give me my damn keys.. I’m not even sure they actually changed my oil last time I was here now.. maybe that’s why my check engine light is on smh!! Never going back.. good luck if you do
View on GoogleSafe to say I won’t be returning. One of the first times I came here, I paid for a belt that they never installed. It wasn’t until months later I went back they tried to get me to buy a new one. Got my battery replaced here, and when I picked my car up, it wouldn’t start. My car hasn’t been the same since tbh. Last straw was them offering to perform a service without mentioning the cost. Would’ve costed me over $1300 and they weren’t going to tell me until after. Went somewhere else and saved $800.
View on GoogleGreat service and good pricing. I took my vehicle to three shops before Jim's, all three of which misdiagnosed the problem or quoted thousands for repair. Jim's Auto Service took the time to identify the correct issue and fix it in a timely manner for a fraction of the cost. I will definitely be returning.
