Let’s begin with how I was scammed by a person who considered himself a mechanic he was referred by a really close friend. My car was towed to his location and he had my car for 4 months totally apart and not answering my calls or texts messages. After 4 long months my car was still not repaired! Finally, after numerous calls and texts pleading him to put the car back together for me to have it towed out of his hands. I took my car to Authorized Autos to Mike and gave him a challenge to put my car back together and complete the job. Mike took on the challenge and completed my car with no problems . I can’t say enough on how great Mike was. I don’t know if any other mechanic would have taken on this tasks to fix my car since how bad the previous fake mechanic messed it up. Mike was such a pleasure to work with and finished and completed my car back to perfection. Thank you so much Mike!!

I was referred to Mike in 2022 by a family member who has been going to him for years. Ever since 2022, Mike has been the only person that I trust with my car! He does a great job and honestly the best in the city!!

I got in contact with Mike about work I needed done on my car. He was quick to give me an estimate on price/timing and was great at explaining the process. Not to mention he was charging me a much more feasible price than other shops were. There ended up being more work that needed to be done than we originally thought but Mike called me immediately and actually had me come in person so that he could explain the issues better. Again, he found a price that worked for the both of us and he is working hard to get me my car back in the next few days. I’m confident he will and I’m looking forward to driving again. I took an older Honda fit to Mike for advice. The body was in perfect condition and had been recently repainted. The interior/upholstery was in excellent condition as well, the air conditioning was still blowing nice and cold, and I’d had new tires and brakes installed recently. The engine however, was done! I was initially hoping to get it rebuilt, as it had spun a rod bearing and was knocking around noisily. Mike instead gave me the contact information for a reputable re-seller of used engines that came with warranties. I found an engine with free shipping, he agreed to receive it at his shop, and ten days later I was back on the road. He was communicative throughout the whole process, charged a very reasonable price, and even reassembled the car with a new clutch kit that I provided for no additional charge, since the engine and transmission were already separated. Most people wouldn’t put that kind of money into a 15 year old car, but it’s been a year, and it’s time for inspection again, hence this post. I’ll be going in to get it inspected and to thank Mike again for his excellent service. The stars aligned; the used engine was in excellent condition, Mike’s guys put it all back together seamlessly, and the car runs like new, consuming ZERO oil between oil changes, and it’s super quiet. No knocks, pings, squeals, or rattles. I would have had to spend two to three times as much money to replace that old “beater” with anything in comparable condition. Mike even used his forklift to lift a palette that my old engine was sitting on and load it onto the bed of truck. My son, nephew and I planned to rebuild that one ourselves, but the used engine is running so well that I may just scrap it!
