Friendly and good communication. I particularly like the way they communicate car needs. You’ll get a text with a clear description of what needs to get done with pictures to prove it. If you need further clarification, they are more than willing to talk it through.

Yeah, I couldn’t possibly recommend anywhere than Maclane’s for automotive type things. These folks are so thoughtful and considerate and they really go the extra mile to make sure you get the quality care that you are looking for. I just truly appreciate everyone here and I really wanna give Brady a shout out for helping me and working with me and my weird schedule I’m using voice to text to do this right now but I hope it makes sense because this place rocks 10 out of 10 would come back again for car stuff and in good vibes. I also noticed it appears they have like a warm cookie type situation or something like this available which I didn’t try but I’m sure it’s really really good.

I scheduled an annual inspection with Maclane’s Automotive. My check engine light was on, which was discussed over the phone before the appointment date. I knew some work would need to be done on the car before it would pass inspection. I had just purchased this car in August, and the inspection sticker was up that month. My car passed the safety inspection no problem. However, the emissions inspection was a whole different situation. I was told I had a “small, pinhole leak” causing my emissions to fail state inspection. They reset my check engine light and told me to drive the car around. We got home and the check engine light came back on. Maclane’s did absolutely no diagnostic testing on the emissions leak. No joke, the guy at the receptionist’s desk told me he didn’t want to waste time doing that. They then proceeded to charge us somewhere around $250 for the inspection and close to ZERO diagnostic testing. They informed me to just bring it back if the check engine light came on. I work full time, so I cannot be dropping off a car every other day at a mechanics when I am not licensed yet. I couldn’t get around to taking the car back since I had a lot of medical issues in the time that passed. I decided to try again and take the car to Jeff D’Ambrosio who AT LEAST diagnosed the car and told me I needed a new fuel filler neck, but the bad thing is that they wanted to install dealer parts that were 4-6 months out. I made the hesitant decision to call Maclane’s again… to see if they would be able to help. The gentleman I spoke to on the phone insisted that he would not be able to help me unless I paid them ANOTHER $150 for diagnostics. Diagnostics that they did not feel like completing at the original appointment, mind you. At the same time my wife and I needed our CR-V inspection done, so we went to another shop. I called them asking for their prices, expecting $100+. The inspection was only $90 at this shop, and it included diagnostics ;). We happily paid for the repairs needed to pass inspection. I feel like I wasted time and money at Maclane’s. Everyone inside was nice, and I hesitate to make this review. Maybe my experience will be useful. EDIT: Two days after I gave the Mirage to Olsen’s Auto in Honey Brook they had the parts installed and the inspection stickers on the car. The check engine light has not come back on for weeks being a daily car. Extremely disappointed about Maclane’s negligence and would ideally like a refund for the $250 spent for nothing!

This was my first experience with Maclane’s Automotive and it was a good experience. The work I asked to be done was completed as requested and other maintenance that they felt needed to be done was given to me as an option. I selected some work that they suggested and other I opted to delay. Overall I was pleased with the service that I received at Maclane’s Automotive. This was my second experience with Maclane’s Automotive and I was pleased with the quality of the service they provided. They accomplished all that I requested and the price was reasonable.

I brought my car in for inspection and an oil change. I waited for it to be completed. It wasn’t that long and I also received information about a few things that the saw that required correction. So efficient and informative. I will be bringing my car back in to fix these issues. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and helpful with everyone that came in the door. Absolutely the best place you can bring your car to.
