I cannot thank Crawford's enough! March 30th I hit a deer and couldn't drive my car. The Downingtown Police called Crawford's to tow my vehicle. They were there within minutes even though it was late at night. The next day I went to see the damages in daylight. Ms. Barb made sure I knew what to expect as this is my first accident and shared her expertise in dealing with situations like mine - especially pertaining to handling my insurance. She and her husband did their own estimate of my vehicle's damages so that an accurate appraisal would be made - they sent it to my insurance rep and made sure I was included on the email so I was able to see images of the actual damages so that my insurance couldn't "forget" or "miss" anything. Without Crawford's this whole experience could've been more stressful for me. They protected me from insurance issues and kept me informed.

I am a very disgruntled consumer yesterday on 12.09.2025 when I was driving along the exit ramp going Route 30 Westbound going towards Kinzers, PA to go out to eat there mid afternoon. I was driving my 1990 Buick Riviera Landau and it jerked and stalled on me right at the end of the exit ramp in a rough location. I ended up calling 911 about mid afternoon to get assistance due to where my car was stalled out at. The authorities came to assist me. The authorities didn't allow me to call for my own tow. I was able to manage to get picked up by a former coworker where she took me back to my house to get another vehicle of mine that had jumper cables. The male Officer said that given where the stranded car was that we needed to get it towed. The state police did not permit me to make my own tow arrangements. The responding tow truck driver company was Crawfords Auto Center out of Downingtown, Pennsylvania. I wish I could type more but I think this only allows so many characters. But in a nut shell, I was charged $340 by them and the driver, Chris for an 8 mile town after getting the car put up on a flat bed. I had the flatbed driver tow my Buick Riviera 1990 8 miles to Gazzerros Towing and Automotive in Thorndale, PA. Even the owner of Gazzerros is contracted by the state to receive tow requests. Frank even said that I should have only been charged $150 for the hook up and 8 mile tow. So in hind sight I honestly feel I was taken advantage of by the driver, Chris and the Crawfords. I do plan on reporting this to the Public Utilities Commission asap. This is NOT the end of my reporting of this being overcharged. I am a US Navy and Army veteran as well as a Lifetime VFW Member. Even though I am a AAA Plus Member I can be reimbursed from this that's not the point here. This is going to be reported to PUC.

I have recommended Crawford’s to everyone I know! Not only is the quality of work unmatched but you truly feel cared for. Barb immediately eased my worries after a run in with a deer, my stress levels were through the roof and I was already dealing with a death in the family and she took over everything, including the dreaded insurance loops to jump through. My truck looks brand new and I couldn’t be happier. There aren’t many caring businesses left these days that aren’t just out for profit but Crawfords is one of them. Also if you have the pleasure of going into their office there are some beautiful dogs hanging out behind the counter!

Crawfords was great with my car! After getting into an accident, my vehicle was towed to their shop. We went to look at the damage and the owner was great with explaining how the process would work. Unfortunately my car was totaled, but the whole process was easier because of them! Thank you!! Such a great local business and they are willing to answer any and all questions!

Wife’s car got hit down the street, they came out and got it towed and were very courteous helping me with my insurance company and what that process entails. Would recommend.
