10/28/25 1969 Cougar XR7 428CJ. Just had Rich go over the car again. Got the carburetor adjusted, fixed the hood hinges, adjusted the suspension, balanced the tires. Now the car drives A LOT better. The guys at Lucore Automotive are THE BEST. You can trust them with ANYTHING!!! I mean EVERYTHING.

Making this review again because my last review was deleted! I left a review a few years ago but it’s not to be found now. Don’t know if it’s Google or Lucore but I’d put money that Lucore complained to Google about my original review. Around March 2024 I took my 2017 Subaru Legacy in to get an oil leak looked at and was charged $115-$150 for the inspection. When Lucore contacted me they tried to say it was a head gasket leak and it would cost around $5,000 to fix. A head gasket problem on a 2017? Highly doubt that considering I’m anal about the maintenance of my car. I took the car to a Subaru dealership for a second opinion who said the problem was the valve covers not being secure. Maybe a couple hundred dollars and an hour of waiting and I was out the door. Lucore does not deserve to be open if they’re going to lie about services that are not needed. This business needs to be investigated for fraud.

I have been getting alignments at random shops as of late, but this last year, my Infiniti G35 ate through a set of tires in 3000 on the front, which was highly unusual. Suspected it was a camber issue as usual. Greeted at the shop with kindness on a Monday morning. The shop took my ideal alignment specs into consideration and I spent my time in their waiting room, which was very clean and full of magazines 😀. When my car was done, the alignment guy spent time with me to explain what was going on with my car, what he could do and what limited his choices, explained what he fixed (toe was way out of specs causing handling issues and the severe tire wear) and what he did that should improve my car's handling but for the street and my occasional track day. I highly recommend giving them the opportunity to work on your car. I drove 45 minutes for this experience and it was worth it for the difference I noticed driving immediately after leaving the shop. Turn in was better and the front end handled better than it has in years. I am scheduling for them to do a proper alignment on my Datsun 240z next.

I recently had Lucore bulletproof my 2004 F250 with a 6.0 powerstroke. I ended up paying a quite a bit more than I was estimated for bulletproof kit but I got some additional items. I arrived to pick up my truck at about 12:30am on a Saturday. I was a little shocked to notice my headlight didn’t work and the wire was stuck, I was unable to fix it in the parking lot. I called and left a message and dropped my keys back off. I was pretty frustrated until 8:30am later that morning. Rich called me and told me he had already fixed my truck and he was willing to bring it 4 hours round trip to my house for me. Overall I am thrilled with how the truck runs and couldn’t be happier with the response I got to my situation when I went to pick up my truck. They do very good work just be prepared to have a little room with your estimate.
