Called W.W.Williams, to get some parts info on my Allison 2500MH transmission. Mallory in the parts department was fantastic!! Got me all the parts info I need, plus threw in some transmission maintenance info, that I wasn’t aware of. Thanks Mallory!!

It was a Monday morning. My water pump on my Freightliner Cascadia broke down, I managed to drive it to the shop . I checked in at 10am. They got the truck in the shop right away. They diagnosed it, was given estimate for the repair, I agree to it . They had all the parts in stock, they managed to finish the repairs by the end of the work day. They have a nice lunch room with vending machines, very nice drivers lounge with clean bathroom. They have a room for dropping trailers , but check with the shop for availability. Overall I’m happy with the experience and thankful for the quick turnaround. Just a quick note, before heading to the this shop I called the nearest Freightliner dealer/ shop, they said they could not even get my truck for diagnostic until Thursday ( 3-4) days wait time.

Well I brought my truck for fuel system diagnostic since my truck acted rough after coming to stop randomly ones a month and turned off on me while on the highway. The symptoms i have explained to them and the check engine light eng2 spn157 fmi12 that was present at the time would assume simple diag but unfortunately after 2.5hrs in i was given the option to allow another 5-6 hours of diagnostics or take it as is with we couldn’t find the problem. Now assuming they are the experts and this is a common problem for dd15, i was very disappointed that they couldn’t point the problem so i decided to take things on my own and look it up on YouTube which i find similar truck and all i have fix was two simple parts that cost me under $$500.00 and the engine light is gone i have ran the truck on multiple loads now and no issue. WW williams was my 1st stop in terms of finding problems as i knew their honesty long time ago but things have changed i guess no different than FDYA now:( paid $500 for diagnostics and left clueless :( any owner ops YouTube is your friend. This shop used to save you $$ now it’s the opposite, i remember back in 2021 i bought a truck and took it to FYDA for head adjustment n was told bad head and an estimate of $14k ok took truck outand brought to ww williams n two days later truck is ready with a bill off $750 i think. So now it’s all about sales. I do see majority of the negative comments are foreigners so i will say guys keep the reviews to advise other not to go there. Support your moms&bobs shop. Waryaa ka fogow sxb Pictures are before and after I replaced quantity control valve and smal black fuse box by the steering shaft to the wall. Ww william couldn’t figure that out sadly
