Jeff Wyler Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM of Columbus Service

So I bought a jeep in December by Jan it was in the shop with 3 issues. They kept my jeep almost 3 weeks. Just for it to return back a week later with an issue they knew about and should have fixed at the same time they had it. I have had my car back 2 weeks and now a 4th issue, I dropped it off weds told it was going to be escalated and resolved. Mean while they made me pay 38.00 a day for a rental car while they are fixing mine again! I was told it would be done last night and we sit no call back no one answering the phone there and now I’m going to be paying more money for this rental from them. 38.00 a day x 5 days plus a 150.00 security deposit just don’t seem right for there errors and things they should have fixed before selling me a 22,000 jeep!!

Terrible experience with this service department. I took my truck in for a check engine light on Tuesday May 7 at my appointment time. They told me originally that it was probably something that could be done in a day but then it changed to possibly taking up to 24 hours for the diagnosis to come back. Whatever, that’s fine I just wanted the truck fixed and the engine light to go away and they will call me the next morning. Well I don’t receive a call the next morning so I called them in the afternoon to them saying they were still diagnosing it. I finally get a call the next morning which is now Thursday saying I needed a new cam shaft sensor as well as many other things not relating to the problem. I agreed to let them replace the cam shaft sensor as I figured that would fix the issue my truck was having and I also let them do a complete fuel system service. They tried to sell me on a brake fluid change, new tire, cabin and engine air filters, and an oil change (which I just had done 3 days prior). I understand it’s their job to upsell but I was only interested in getting the check engine light taken care of. After paying $1174 to have my truck worked on they called and said they were still having issues with the truck and that the spark plugs were for sure causing my issue. They wanted another $1000+ to replace spark plugs and that would fix my issue. Well I didn’t want to give this place another $1000 after already paying them $1000+ for my truck to not be fixed. I picked it up and changed the spark plugs myself and everything was good for a few days and then I got hit with a check engine light again. So if I would have paid another $1000 for them to change my spark plugs and the truck still wouldn’t have been fixed. On top of this they left items under the hood disconnected and forgot to screw back on the engine air filter cover. There were also many times I was told they will call at a certain time later in the day or the next day and never received phone calls and I had to call them which is a pain because they may answer or they may not, or it may connect you to a random representative who isn’t even at the dealership who will just transfer you to someone who won’t pick up. On top of this they charge $189 to just diagnose a vehicle and then don’t apply it the work that was done, whether it fixed the problem or not which I think is ridiculous as many places and dealerships will diagnose for free or at least put it towards the cost. Overall it was a poor experience here and I would not recommend to family, friends, or really anyone.

I live in Florida, Drove my jeep to Ohio to attend a couple funerals and to see my family doing so I experienced the jeep death wobble as they call it absolutely horrifying!!.. Specially, after going through the hurricanes and losing my home and everything in it truly it was the last thing I needed. Called the Wyler Jeep dealer in Canal Winchester they got me in the same day I called had to order the part. Sierra was a complete gem.!.. She and everyone there were so kind and thank goodness it was covered bumper-to-bumper under the manufacture. Wonderful team you have there to deal with specially after I’ve gone through hell is the last few weeks

Traveling across Ohio, my 2023 RAM diesel needed Def service, tried to tell me they couldn't clean the Def injector,said it was $2700, and it wasn't available, so they said my diesel truck was shot at 81k miles, and tried to sell me a new truck... Bad Business!

I stopped here this morning for an oil change on my promaster work van. As I have at many other dodge dealerships, I arrived at 6:30 so I would be first in line so that I could get back to work. The experience was awful. I’ve never left a bad review before as I would rather talk about how good a company is. With that said, they were too busy to change my oil. That was not my issue at all. I understand that companies get busy. It was the rest of the experience. As I said, I arrived at 6:30 and I parked about 20 feet from the overhead service door. I don’t like to pull up as I feel like I am rushing them to let me in. At all other dealerships, when they open and are ready they wave me in. The service employee that was there this morning never acknowledged that I was there. At about 7:05 he walked out past my van and went and got another car out of the parking lot and pulled it in front of me. The door opened automatically and he drove in. I wasn’t sure what to do so I pulled in behind him. He got out of the car, walked past me to his desk. Then he walked past me again to the car and pulled it out. Every time he walked past, he awkwardly avoided eye contact. He would just stare at his feet making sure not to acknowledge me. I walked into the area with their desks and caught up with him. He was very unfriendly and told me he didn’t have time for my oil change. Once again, I get that companies get busy. However at any time he could have walked up and talked to me and saved me some time. Pulling the car in front of me without acknowledging me was so ignorant. By the time I left, I felt like I was an inconvenience to them. This was by far the most unprofessional employee that I’ve ever met a a dodge dealership. I could tell by his demeanor that he was either in a bad mood or maybe just unfriendly in general. I’ll try somewhere else tomorrow. This will be the last time that I come to this place for anything.
