First time I took my car here I had an oil change and spark plugs replaced they seemed to do a good job given it was so simple, although it took 6 hours for a such a simple job I know shops can get busy. The second and most recent time I’ve come here I had my rear and front suspension replaced and not only did that take all day but when I went to pick the car up the brakes barely worked as I floored the brakes my car was still slightly moving I immediately drove back to the shop and they were closing and didn’t fix it that day they also were closed the next day for Eid and so they had me come in super early 2 days later with no working brakes and said they’d give me a call when the job was done. No call I waited 6 hours until I finally called and they said it had been done they just didn’t call me, fine I went to pick it up and they start talking about how my abs sensor is broken and all that which I said I didn’t have money to fix at the moment and they also pointed out that my engine was misfiring which I was already aware of it’s a camshaft timing issue which is to expensive to repair and they insisted it was low oil or something else and kept trying to tell me different, not knowing I had it professionally inspected and diagnosed at the official Volkswagen dealership shop. They then kept insisting it was the oil so I said fine I have some oil in the back and the guy eyeballed it and started pouring, and then I drove home and I noticed not only was the car still misfiring, obviously because I knew the real issue but my rpms were not going past 3k and I thought that was weird and I went to check the oil level and this freaking guy way over filled it past the hash marks and like half way up the damn dip stick. So now I have to spend more time and money getting this oil drained and changed. On top of that I can’t safely drive far because of the amount of oil in my system the engine could now have more issues. The ABS light is now on and never was before so i assume they broke that and tried to sell me the replacement. There was oil all over my hood, roof, sides of my car, steering wheel, handles, shifter, and interior because they wore their dirty gloves all through the process and didn’t think to take them off especially in the car. The tire pressure light is also now flashing and the and traction light is also flashing. If you’re looking to buy more problems then you solve, a ridiculous lack of care and detail, a dangerous vehicle, and bad customer service where they treat you like you don’t know anything, then come the Merrick Auto Repair.

Destroyed my Engine, they don’t know what they’re doing. Asked for a spark plug change and not a week later, my car is having a terrible misfire and can’t be driven regularly now. Get your car work done somewhere else. The picture shows how well they put your car back together. Yes there was a vacuum leak

Was in a rush to get a same day oil change, and this Shop was able to accommodate me. Everything was fast and easy I was able to bring my own oil. The owners are definitely good and honest people. Great price. I will be going back again.
