Sunken Meadow Auto Collision

Sunken Meadow did my repair after a lady turned right into my car. It was for quarter panel damage and the surrounding area. Everybody was very nice there. They kept me well informed the entire time of the repair and everything went smoothly. The results were fantastic. They made my 2015 Grand Cherokee look brand new again. Right down to the letter badging on the side. I would definitely use them again for any auto repair that involves body work, (and I'm a car guy so I'm very particular about who works on my cars). This shop was recommended by State farm. Car had front end damage from hitting a deer. Damage was cosmetic. Car was driven to the shop. They started taking the car apart and insurance decided it was a total loss. I wanted a second opinion. Was told my car could not be driven because they started taking it apart and didn't put it back together. Car was returned to me with zip ties holding the bumper and a cup holder full of screws. They kept the car in the dirt so it was covered in mud. My vehicle was in worse shape when I got it back then when it came in. I understand insurance wanted it totaled but they shouldn't take things apart and not put them back together. Woman who answers the phone had a bad attitude. The "adjuster" denied any wrong doing saying "he wasn't there when my vehicle was being worked on."

Poor customer service and dishonest. Avoid this autobody shop at all costs. They repaired my sunroof through my insurance and said it was covered under warranty. "Bring it back for any problems" I was told. Of course, the sunroof stopped working and when I returned they held my car for a week and never repaired it. Mike apparently didn't know how to call my insurance company to get the warranty info and he blamed the problem on me! He said I was supposed to "clean the tracks" of the sunroof! What? When I called him out on it he became confrontational and abrasive. I couldn't believe this guy was allowed to speak to customers. I asked to speak to the owner and he refused. Red flag, no accountability whatsoever. I was told he didn't even live in NY! The office manager took over and was very polite but it was just a show to get my car out of there. Henry lied to me, telling me he would follow up with insurance and get back to me. That was three weeks ago. It's clear they don't respect their customers and don't stand by their work. Stay away from this chop shop, scammers to the very end.

I actually hit a bear in New Hampshire with my QX60. I have State Farm Insurance. First time customer of Sunken Meadow. They took care of everything. Car came back clean. Repair looks great. Staff are tremendously courteous, friendly, and most important, eager to help.
