Here is an honest review. 1. I have had my vehicle serviced there a few times. They have provided outstanding and prompt service each time. 2. They are not cheap; but neither has the services they provided. Like everything in this life, everything has value. If you place more value in getting the job done right the first time, no aggravation, a transparent transaction and the competence of being able to handle a slew of complex issues, then this is your shop. If you're looking for a cheap oil change, a discounted battery or no name tires, this is probably not your shop. I don't go to them for all of my service needs as my income forces me to find "deals", but when I have a rattle, a leak or an issue that other shops would scratch their head at, this is the shop I bring my vehicle to. I also like that they provide a good warranty, although I've never needed it.

These guys are great! Especially Angelo. Knowledgeable, professional and they do quality work. Been coming here for years.

Trying to buy a car from out of state comes with real challenges — especially figuring out whether you can truly trust what you’re being told about the vehicle. That’s why having a quality pre-purchase inspection is absolutely critical. After researching a few shops, I chose Smithwest Service Center and spoke with Angelo. He was outstanding from start to finish. He performed a very thorough inspection, explained everything clearly, and took the time to document and discuss concerns in detail. What impressed me most was his honesty and professionalism. He identified significant pitting on the brake rotors and noted that the brake pads appeared to have simply been replaced without properly addressing the rotors. When the dealer minimized the issue as “just rust,” Angelo actually took a second look personally and called me directly to explain his concerns and what it could mean long term. That level of integrity, transparency, and willingness to stand behind his inspection gave me tremendous confidence in his work. If you are purchasing a vehicle — especially from out of state — I would highly recommend having Angelo and Smithwest Service Center inspect it before you buy.

My first visit, came in for annual NYS inspection, shop is very clean and well run. I was really impressed with full DVI, high level of detail for something so routine. I'll be coming back again!
